Techland (Dying Light) is working on two AAA games

I would like to share some good news with all the fans of Techland’s games: we’re currently working on not one, but two new titles. We estimate their total budget to be around USD 77 million, so these will be so-called AAA games. In order to give the teams working on these projects creative independence, each project is being developed in a different place. The first one is created by the Wroclaw-based studio, and the second one is being made by Techland Warszawa. Techland’s third studio, which is based in Vancouver, is providing technological support for both titles.

Our main target is to give the gamers two huge titles within the next two years that will be even more successful than Dying Light. I assure you that they are worth the wait!

Don't know what the first one is but the second is this:-

Marchewka revealed that Techland is currently working on a fantasy game with a big, open world and RPG elements. It’s a completely new IP, neither a part of any of the studio’s existing franchises, nor a new iteration of the side-tracked Hellraid, as we’ve suspected after the previous press release. The game will feature both single player and co-op multiplayer. The project that Marchewka named as something more ambitious than the above mentioned Hellraid

Awesome, I hope we get a reveal at E3. Dying light was a great game and had some of my favourite side quests ever.

Dying Light was such a fantastic game, and like Arkham Asylum caught me completely by surprise. If only the expansion wasn't focuses on driving a stupid vehicle I would have been all over that like a rash.

Hopefully it won't be present in the sequel and they can focus on the parkour and zombies.

I enjoyed Dying Light so much, it renewed my love for gaming at a time when I thought I was done with the hobby, which made the shitty expansion extra disappointing.

Dying Light sequel and a huge open world fantasy RPG? Ummm....sounds good to me Techland. Dying Light was a huge surprise quality game out of nowhere

I'll go out on a limb and say it's a sequel to 2015's 5+ million selling smash hit Dying Light.
Dayuumn Nirolak, where you get them superior intelligent genes from?

Looking forward to see the other one as well. Hope it's weird and totally demented in a good way.

Hope they are doing something like CoJ: Gunslinger. That game was probably my goty whatever year it came out.

Same here. Game was tremendous. Really wish Ubi would start that franchise up again since I recall Gunslinger did well for them commercially and critically.

A surprise trailer at E3 would be sick. For either of the mentioned projects.

One sounds like Hellraid though. It has gone through some rough things and it probably looks alot different now compared to what we saw last time.

I'd really like another Call of Juarez game in the same style as Gunslinger, but I wonder if they want to focus on bigger things now, and Dying Light was a smash hit compared to Gunslinger.

They said the second game is a completely new IP more ambitious than Hellraid

Sorry, I missed that part about it not being Hellraid. I'd like to see Techland take on an open-world action RPG - I mean, their combat couldn't be any worse than the The Elder Scrolls, and I think their technical capabilities are probably beyond those of Bethesda too.

It would be cool if the next Dying Light improved the quests/sidequests. It's pretty much all fetch quests in the vein of turning on power grids, water supply shit, grabbing whatever X item the NPC needs, etc. The writing was kind of poor, and there really wasn't a single interesting character in the game, IMO.
