YouTube/Geoff Keighley hosting 12 hour E3 stream, and YouTube gets new E3 hub

Just like so many have said, YouTube was THE place to watch last year; The one stop shop. But for many years, after the press conferences, GameSpot was the place to get on stage demos all week from developers (and they still do), but then Geoff and his people started having them, and even between press conferences!

Starting last year, now that he's on YouTube, its the one stop shop in all ways. The press conferences, demos, everything, all in one. That 12 hour stream will do all best best stuff in one day!

Why are you reading my tag instead of the title of my post?
YouTube x Keighly. I'm so down with this. Looks like this + EZA is gonna be my hub. YouTube has always had by far the best streams. Don't know how it's so hard to get right.

Wouldn't be E3 without Geoff, really professional guy and very nice in person as well ^^

I'm interested in this archive, do you believe one will be able to access it spoiler free to watch conferences after they air? I'll be traveling to EA Play in London and will still be coming back home on monday during the shows...

I will be creating the Spoiler Free E3 thread this year. It may be called the 'catch up and archive thread' after some consideration of the concerns in the spoiler culture thread in the OT section.

It will archive all the links from all the E3 conferences, reaction streams and livestreams. Last year, YT Gaming archived the whole livestream so I anticipate them doing the same this year.

Bookmark the thread, or the Google Sheet link in the thread. All the links to the streams will be posted to both. There is no discussion in the thread so it's a case of clicking the link that you need. I will post the YT gaming archive link in the thread too.

Fantastic to see something like this and I still prefer to watch Geoff than any other E3 live stream. Always liked how Geoff presents his show, a real presenter, a serious gaming journalist. This will be the 4th year in a row.

Mods, can this thread be stickied just to be safe to not miss it?

I've always respected Geoff. He's a great journalist and probably one of the strongest supporters of the gaming industry. In for Conan as well.

So is yt gonna stream EA tonight? They are my choice since last year worked worked very smooth!

Yes was messing around with all my devices in the house. Found out my WiiU and the nvidia shield TV were the best for twitch and YouTube. I had issues with buffering on YouTube with PS4 last year and the Xbox would do this weird quality drop.

Tested a LoL YouTube stream last night on both the WiiU and Nvidia.....ah was glorious. Plus you can stay in neogaf with the tablet portion of the WiiU while watching the conference's pretty cool. Most I use my WiiU lol

Good to hear! Gonna try it with the PS4 or my laptop attached to the tv :)

Right on. I like what I hear about how they are organizing things.

EDIT:
On a side note, Youtube does the worst job in the world promoting this stuff. I turned off Youtube Center and uBlock to see if that was affecting anything. Didn't seem like it. So I go step further and sign out. Nope. Still not a single sign of Youtube at E3 anywhere on their page. I go to their "gaming " section, nada. Youtube isn't even promoting their own E3 coverage?! I don't get it.

Should be an interesting E3, especially in terms of hardware announcements (i.e. PS4K / Neo) and seeing progress on the big three games revealed / re-revealed last year, but obviously nothing will ever compare to the utter shock and tears of joy of last year.

Wasn't it confirmed there would be no Neo talk?

Sorry for the double post but...

Nothing is showing up and the channel claims that they got Gamespot at E3 and IGN at E3 right now. Nothing is showing up though :/

i think that might be fake as there is also nothing to see on gamespot's own website as far as i can tell. shame..

The best part about YT streams is that you can pause, scrub through already streamed parts, and resume live. I wish Twitch could do that.
