Oh, delicate admission that the Ignite engine was BS and an actual new engine is being used?

I'm intrigued. PES is the leader in gameplay from last year to me, so it's good to be interested in both titles again.

can't believe we got a teaser trailer for a sports game ffs...

Honestly it'll be the first FIFA game i dont buy in like 6 years unless theres a MASSIVE overhaul to Pro Clubs. Or if they add co-op FUT

New engine can definitely be the breath of fresh air the franchise needed.

They have used the exact same "updated" engine since 09 and you definitely notice it with all the animations and physics.

Why does he wear the mask!?
Not even gonna bother with the demo this year. Will just check it out with EA early access.

pointless anyways, they always release a patch a few weeks in then completely changes/ruins the game from demo

I might switch to FIFA this time. Frostbite is so good...

In my experience, Frostbite has been a hit and miss. But I get why EA is doing this, it's to help streamline updates done to the engine all across thier production studios which is a cost efficient way to do things. I suppose we have to wait and see if the engine works or is adaptable for sports games because it's only ever been used for action games and racers

Hope Best Buy does the same trade-in offer theyve been doing with fifa and madden the last couple years, that makes the yearly upgrading very much worth it.

No Messi??? No sale.
We got that tax frauding cunt every year, he will be on the cover again.
So leave the small spotlight for others.

Same here.
Pro Clubs is the main reason I played FIFA over the last few years, and it sadly got worse with every entry...

I don't even like Football games (other than Rocket League) but I'm totally interested in this!

This will be good to see at E3.

No it won't. They'll show some pre-canned footage from angles you don't play the game at, wheel out some real football player to talk to and send us all to sleep.

Fortunately, I believe it's playable, so hearing peoples impressions will actually be good.

Gamescom is usually the better place to collect impressions from, as alot of people try it out there.

With EA doing their thing of allowing the public in to their event, we should get those impressions next week instead of having to wait until then, which should be fun.

Oh, new engine. This year could be interesting again for me. Switched to PES with 2015 again and am quite satisfied though it is not perfect too.

Might switch back if this turns out well.

FIFA has been horrendous since 12, but they'll have my money every year because of Pro Clubs

Although god knows why because they haven't even bothered to touch that mode for about 5 years.

people always hype these games up when they try them at e3 etc

The public haven't been allowed to play it before GamesCOM in the past.

I don't want to hear if it's good or bad anyway, I want to hear about specific changes people notice.

Never. He is the greatest to ever lace up a pair of boots in any sport.

So a new engine indeed, that at least gives some hope.

Can we please get a tennis game too this year?

He should play for Madrid though so those Franco cult followers and ex Fuerza Nueva fascist morons can finally let go. Watch Marta Silva la Puerta drop the trial faster than Robben Spain's defense.

Performance capturing the faces is a big one. Fifa faces always looked so dead to me (not sure if that changed already in Fifa 16)

Mourinho?

Finally some real coaches would be nice.

Give me Kloppo or bust though
Milch pls.
It's all about Tuchel.

I usually got a couple of friends going to Gamescom and I can easily hop onto the train and get there in an hour or two.
I just can't be bothered to queue up for something like FIFA or anything else on the Gamescom.
All those friends usually give me a pretty good impression though, and I generally like it more when a bigger chunk of the public plays it and gives impressions.

Yeah, I imagine the queues in LA are probably shorter with Madden, NHL and all that there.... But the London even will probably be queueing for quite a bit.

I hope they've been working on this for a while. It would explain why the last few games have been absolute shite.

Been holding off on getting a FIFA game for my PS4 for a while now and I'm happen I've done so with this Frostbite development. Ought to be interesting how the game runs and how it'll be iterated upon next year.

Here's hoping we just don't get another legends segment in connection with this at the EA presser like the Pele debacle.

FIFA One.

I take it as a sign to stay clear of 17. Engine\Gen transitioned titles tend not to be good.

so does this mean farewell to the jerky-ass animations, stretched-ass shirt letters and overall shitty-ass physics? i'm hyped.

While I'm not interested in Fifa 17, at least this trailer has told me not to hope for an announcement of EA Access on PS4 around E3. Damn it Sony.

Just when I finally have a great squad in UT, they show a new fifa, I swear my balls just withdrew into my stomach when I started thinking about the hundreds of euros I'll be spending on FUT buying 100k packs expecting something decent and getting Giroud instead. I feel like I'm being held against my will, I feel gross and molested. Help me
