I'm talking about something that actually plays games. From a disc. in a drive. that also plays movies. in a certain resolution.

Slim with 4K video playback sounds good, but I don't know if I'll get it or wait for Scorpio. I guess it depends on Scorpio's target release window.

So the Slim will have built in power supply.

So Xbox One Slim without external powerbrick and 4k bluyray support. Nice

All I know is that I'll be taking a "wait and see" approach to any new Xbox hardware which will be used for anything other than games (read: movies) due to the problems they've had with black crush in the past. It's been an absolute killer for YouTube, Netflix and Blu-ray movies where image fidelity is important.

If ekim or Dragon can confirm they've solved these issues with black crush, then I have my new 4k UHD player. If not, then the Neo will be the preferred purchase.

I am about to call people I know to get you. Lol. That last part about resolution is intriguing but I know you knew that would raise eyebrows.

Seriously, what the fuck happened to Poncho Chief? They show a big reveal teaser, they talk about the poncho in interviews, they even released a fucking figurine! You can't just let that shit disappear and pretend it never happened. I need an explanation. Frankie, where you at?

Never had a problem with these "crushed blacks", and i'm on my 3rd TV since I got my xbox one. To me this is a GAF myth. You just have to go through the xbox tv calibration stuff properly

TIME FOR A CRAZY PREDICTION THAT MAKES NO SENSE AND IS COMPLETELY STUPID:

The "stick" hardware thing will be like one of those Apple Minis on a usb that attaches to any laptop or tablet and essentially turns them into an fully functioning xbone.

Controllers wirelessly connect to the stick thing, which has a disc drive.

How the fuck did the slim drop 40% of its size and get the power supply inside?

Unless it's something else.

Wouldn't surprise me if the 'stick' is actually more like a Steam Link. which streams Windows X games or Xbox 'console' games to any TV/Surface/Windows 7 PC.

Yeah that's what I want. No reason to buy another console when I can just have 2-3 of these and place them around

Major did a periscope showing the swag they are giving people at Fanfest. Features Xbox branded book bag, carrying pouch, t-shirts(KI, Scalebound and Forza), Recore puzzle, Halo Wars 2 Mega Bloks, Stickers/controller Skin (Scalebound) and Minecraft W10 edition. He said there is more but they haven't been announced yet.

It would be insane if the backpack has an Xbox One Slim tucked away in there, similar to the Xbox 360 Slim announcement where everyone in the theatre got one for free.

All sounds really good. Hope they do a giveaway for those of us not there.

There has to be something special in there. I like how he turned off the camera real quick and then stated how they couldn't show everything. Such a tease...

I hope mouse and keyboard support for games is announced. They've been saying they will do it for awhile now.

Maybe I'll finally be good at Halo lol.

I'm so bad at FPS games with controllers. Maybe I'm just out of practice. I skipped all of last gen so the last time I used a controller before getting the Xbox One for Christmas was back in 2005/2006 when I was playing Halo 2.

Well, this is the first Xbox to be designed with Panos Panay leading the hardware division... I wouldn't put it past them.
Yea, smallest Xbox console ever, too. The X360 Slim was pretty small and this is even smaller.
