For me, the worst thing is that I cunningly planned to go to sleep at 10 pm and sleep for 5 hours (the conference starts at 3 am). But I was just turning in bed and couldnt get a mintue of sleep, so after 3 hours of agony I just gave up...

Wow, now that's hard! I managed to sleep until 12 pm (assuming wrongfully that the Ubisoft conference starts at that time) - but staying up until 3 am would probably kill me. I assume you're another poor european folk.
Oh well, thankfully we have to endure this only once a year.
