First we had "From Sapiens to Ludens" on the site
than we had a guy called Ludens
than a trailer with a guy (Ludens) that seems setting in the paeleolithic age ( o really?)
than we see crosses in the Sky (wow)
and finally "wtf i've hust watched?"

I love Pokken!
There are 6 dogtags btw. The sky figures are probably representing Kojima's previous works:

Metal Gear
Policenauts
Snatcher
Boktai
Zone of the Enders

I have to say, a good part of my Silent Hills cancellation disappointment was Reedus not starring ia a game, so I'm even more stoked for this!

The real question is how this game could be an Action game

I'm interested

Did not like the unveil. Not really sure why Sony gave Kojima this slot. The game could of waited for next year's E3 or this year's PSX.

Don't mind Reedus...only positive.

THE MAKING OF DEATH STRANDING
Recorded on March 22 and 23, 2016 at the Sony Interactive Entertainment Visual Arts Service Group (VASG) studio in San Diego.

The scan data to be used for the game's 3D data was created through Photogrammetry, based on photos from all angles.
Hundreds of photos were taken to cover everything: the actor's hands, facial expression, full body, etc.

The actor's performance was recorded through performance capture, in order to simultaneously capture voice, expressions and movement. The baby was replaced with a doll. In addition, camera movements were simulated with the virtual camera, as reference material.

The scan data as well as the animation data captured at VASG was then taken back to Japan, where it was recreated in the game engine to complete the final product.

the visuals looked great. They should probably use whatever engine that they used to make this trailer..
Pretty sure Kojima said this is running real-time, so that should be set in stone.

Really excited for this. I recall hearing Kojima's next project would have a PC release down the road, but all the big Sony names surrounding this game are making me nervous. Definitely playing this at some point, though.

They said it'll come to PC after a period of PS4 exclusivity.

I know I'm so late but it was really heart-warming to see Kojima's entrance. He looked really happy up there. And he's one good looking dude, holy crap.

The Schwarzschild radius describes the critical value to which the radius of a
massive body must be reduced for it to become a black hole.
Rg= 2GM/c^2

Was browsing the new webpage and found an image that was similar to the officially released one with the title card but this one was blank and higher res, I figured I'd zoom in on the dogtags and BOOM equations.. Someone call einstein !

damn... beaten

This is just my interpretation/guessing but whatever.

This is more or less a representation of the whole Konami debacle. The naked and alone Redus represents how he felt during all of this with everyone watching and knowing whats going on but neither him or anyone being able to do anything about the whole mess happening around him.

The handcuff represent how he is finally free from Konami (blue glow Sony?) the dogtags for the finished MGS games he will always carry with him, Redus is also something he keeps but everything else represents what he leaves behind. The baby ripped from him and Redus (P.T) and the size of it represents how small it was but how much he loved it still and never was able to grow into what it was supposed to. The figures in sky the IP´s he leaves behind perhaps.

Lastly the whole death and oil represents Konami and how the company is not only slowly killing games and ideas but also the company itself.

just my two cents

that looks cool and all but someone told me this game doesn't even have an engine? or half the employees needed to make the game?

umm...guess that's why OP said don't expect it soon?

I have no idea what this is supposed to be, but this trailer definitely peaked my interest. Got a new song for my playlist too.

Shit, that might actually be accurate.

I don't know where kojimas going with this, but those figures in the air definitely made me think of a otherworldly/alien "watcher" mythos mixed with a little bit of 2001 obelisk shenanigans.

This looks so intriguing. I'm very surprised that Kojima had anything to show at this point. That was a great trailer.
