God no. Next we will be seeing Angry Birds, and Clash of Clans Amiibo clones.

Well no shit you have to spend a shitload on the toys.

No... you don't. It's a game about collecting and battling with amiibo-like toys in-game. There are no physical ones.

I will never support this.

How does this play if anyone's actually played it and not just here to talk about how much they hate TTGo?
It's excellent. Very polished, and the combat has a surprising amount of nuance. ATB combat with individual and team-wide buffs and skills, leveling and upgrading stats, modchips that act as perks and ability modifiers, 70 different characters spread across multiple classes, a Rock-Paper-Scisssors-esque relationship between classes

TA's footage shows off the gameplay well

seems like an interesting figurine based twist on the assemble random heros and fight things formula, considering no f2p

The Teen Titans Go hate in this thread is strong. No reason to hate on a show just because its not exactly like the old one.

Game looks fun, ill post impressions later when I buy it.

Ohh sounds nice. Thanks for the info! I've been curious about checking it out, I might do so now.

I have been having a BLAST with this game. First mobile game I've ever really enjoyed. I wrote a light overview/glowing recommendation for it on a site I write for (not sure if that's okay to link to?) almost exclusively because I was so surprised at the polish of the game.

I think you can link it. Want to read the review. :)

Grumpyface is super legit, I'm happy to see them keep making games. This game looks so dang pretty too! Been eyeing for a while now. I'll probably pick up a little later in the summer so it can be the first game played on a new phone. (My original Moto G is starting to show a lil age!)

Edit: There are no real figures to collect, guys. C'mon it isn't that hard to skim a post.

Cool, thanks! As a DC fan, I've been loving the little world they created in the game. You run around as Robin and find the funniest little references. Like, the stores you buy figs in will be called something like Alfred's Toy Cave or Bizzaro Comics.
The figures themselves have delightful models/animations. Really better than I was expecting for a $3.99 game. Can't say enough about it.

Edit: I was talking to developer Grumpyface on Twitter yesterday, classy guys and apparently they are pretty legit in terms of quality mobile experiences. Gonna have to take a look at what else they have done!

They did a game for Stephen Univese, a Mario RPG-esque game called Attack The Light that's also really solid. Their other game Castle Doombad is a fun side-on TD game where you play as the villian protecting his lair

Cool! Sounds like a fun game.

I'm actually playing Attack the Light - Steven Universe and enjoying it very much. Will get Teeny Titans after I'm done with that!

I'll have to check out that steven universe game and show, people have been telling me to give it a go for a while.
This game actually made me consider checking out Teen Titans Go, just for a chuckle. But, I actually couldn't find it readily accessible anywhere :/

I wonder what heroes are in this game. I can only recognize Robin, Cyborg and Batgirl. Are characters like The Flash, Supergirl or Batman in this? I haven't seen the show and don't know much about the Teen Titans team. The game looks legit though, so might buy it soon.

Slight spoilers about jokes/references:
Batman appears by sending emails to Robin, your player-controlled character. Things like "did you lock wayne manor?" Giving Robin new quests to do!
Otherwise, adult DC characters make cameo appearances. There are a couple of fun figures that reference specific heroes, like the Green Lantern Cyborg figure

Did someone say...amiibo?

...Oh, in-game figures. Looks pretty cute actually! Might have to give it a shot one of these days.

No Flash Kid? I would go all in for such a figure in the game.

Teen Titans Go! >>>>>> Teen Titans

but CN sure loves milking TTG as much as possible

As rude as this ranking seems, I have to say I'm finding my time with Teen Titans Go! a whole lot more consistent than Teen Titans. I have fond memories of the original, but TTG actually has me forgetting it these days. One of the biggest crow I ever ate.

It's pretty hilarious how you can tell who hasn't read the opening post and just decided to have a kneejerk reaction to either "Teen Titans Go", "Amiibo", or a combination of the two words.
