I resent that implication. I loved N64 carts. Instant load times, save on cart. I didn't need CD music - I liked the graphics better than PS1.

As someone who loved the N64, that decision really paved the way for the PS1 to come in and wreak havoc (as someone who loves the PS1 as well)

All of these devices are the same as the Kinect to the Xbox? C'mon now.

Companies drop hardware all the time, but I asked what is a hardware that was pushed as much as the Kinect to be dropped.

People mention the Virtual Boy and I don't know if it was pushed that much but you aren't going to get away with that list.

If you stopped drive-by quoting me (again) and read the thread Ive stated that i'm not cool with this in anyway and want an offline mode or refunds, what you quoted is in reference to an entirely assertion, If all you do is smirk and go "lol he's giving an ever so slightly favourable opinion for Microsoft" you haven't really done anything to my argument tbh. Not all no, but I think me and you both know theres far more imperative products that unfortunately (and I mean absolutely unfortunately) failed in there that were as important or more important than Kinect, the Vita was pushed that much, the PS Move was pushed that much, the Wii U was pushed that much, they just werent marketed well or the vast audience didnt want them. PS4 doing well? Great double down on first party support. Vita and PS Move not doing well? Shit, bail out of there. DS doing well? Make as much games as you can! Wii U not doing well? I hope theyre okay with a few games a year. People love KI and Halo? Support it with as much content as possible. Nobody wants a Kinect? Fucking jesus drop that hard.

It happens, people fail, people succeed. Things people want get supported, things people dont want don't. MS has absolutely had some crazy blunders theyve dropped like a bag of potatoes (Fable Legends, Kinect, Zune, Clippy, GFWL, DRM, Kinect, Don Mattrick, Windows Phone, I can go on and on) but to imply theyre the only one is basically sticking your fingers in your ears and screaming over everyone else.

There's that Zumba Fitness game (though I don't know if it's any good or not) and Dance Central if that counts, lol. Kinda expecting the dance central servers to shut down at some point, too.

People did a great job with their crappy digital vision, but everything went downhill from there. More than half of Quantum Break was released as a stream/download, even after buying the physical disc, and people are fine with that?

It's leeh's friendship group of 10 people I fear for. There's a 10/90% split in physical/digital in this friendship group. He says it's a similar story in a lot of other peoples.

I just got mine back.

Just had to ask nicely and they made the refund

EDIT => But if you are still using it I guess it´s a good idea to ask for the refund once Xbox Fitness has shut down ...

I was surprised to find about $50 added to my Microsoft account today. After a little investigation the amounts were refunds for all Xbox Fitness content I'd ever purchased. I never asked, or expected refunds. Certainly interesting.

Holy shit I missed this news lol. My ex bought p90x on my xbox awhile back for $60, got a deposit into my MS account for a full refund! I have $70 in my account now($10 from the FO4 price glitch). Can I use this credit to buy gears of war 4 digitally?

Joking aside, I guess this is one of the last nails in the coffin for the OG Xbox One plan. I'll be really surprised if we ever get a Kinect 3.0 given how little they're supporting the 2.0 now. Here's hoping for microphone/video support built directly into Scorpio.

I guess this means we are well and truly in the kingship of Phil Spencer. Xbox hardware and first party software decisions are all made with his say so. The Xbox One X is his baby.
