Could well be bigger HDD and slim or just bigger HDD. 2To/4To 2.5" is not cheap.

Sony already told its investors that PSVR is the only hardware 2016-2017 iirc.

It seems like they're definitely going for the 'smartphone' model. 399 is the pricepoint, which will probably increase by a bit with every new iteration and there'll be a new one every set period. I wouldn't be surprised if they create subscriptions and/or subsidy programs to go with that.

To announce and release a slim Ps4 only to then announce the Neo a month later would piss so many people off. If there is a slim I think they need to announce both at the same time.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend buying a PS4 right now. It seems very likely that Neo is coming this year AND when that happens - it's very likely the OG PS4 will have a price cut at that time. It sucks, but I'd really suggest waiting until the specifics are announced. It'll either save you some money or save you future regret.
