I like how Eidos and Square literally created their own hype train...lol

Haha, they even put in a hoverboard warning, *dat attention to detail*.

Oh wait, that's actually part of the original train...

OST was ace in HR.

Eh, I'm not so sure, it was good and fitting but hardly something amazing. The OST for OG Deus Ex was awesome. So far this new one seems decent. Breach should be awesome as it is by the amazing 0edit. Definitely looking forward to hearing his stuff

Adam is waaay better than Alex Denton, trust me (speaking of "boring"). JC can't be beaten though. I like Jensen's backstory and his snarky sense of humor.

I agree with the other poster. Adam isn't interesting much at all. I don't care for IW at all so screw those guys. JC was pretty good, and fleshing things out with Paul was great

You can get the three in front of you, Sarif, Darrow and Taggart, and you can also go down the left corridor for the fourth which blows everything up which is one of the main plot points they're using for Mankind Divided.

I had no idea... Guess I'll trigger that ending when I'll be replaying it soon!

Really? lol
Eliza tells you as much that you have 4 choices...o_O.
I like though how you can save and choose which ending and just reload the save to see the others and get the trophy/achievement. lol

Yeah I can see your point. Grizzled cop/agent would bore a lot of people. Dunno if they'll get rid of him before a third game though. It'd be nice to see a female protagonist again I guess.

I guess I never bothered looking around past the buttons 😂

Someone was streaming it, part of which is here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga3mchiskCE

In a nutshell: Pretty much a current gen version of Human Revolution but expanded and improved.

Hmm I'm not sure how that sounds. I REALLY want this game to be awesome.

On one hand, more of the same could be good. But on the other: Fallout 4 and Just Cause 3 are two examples of where more of the same didn't work so well IMO. I really hope Mankind Divided has GOTY wow factor.

It's hard to say though. We were watching a player who wasn't very good on a poor quality stream. lol Some thought the visuals, animation and lip synch were rough and they are here and there. lol

For me I loved the art, presentation and atmosphere so it has me pumped and counting down the days. Lol The streamer played for near 7 hours and didn't get out the first city hub.

Never bought from this website... are they legit?

I have heard that they have a good track record in terms of getting keys to paying customers. As I understand it they buy region free copies of games in countries with weaker native currencies and sell it for a profit in countries that have stronger currencies. So they seem to exploit regional price differences to sell their keys at these prices.

I debated buying from them before, but reasoned that I wanted to buy from a company I trusted more like GMG. Also, I wanted to support the devs by paying from more official sources. Lastly, I didn't want to end up with some Ukrainian or Russian version of the game or something like that, even if the key was technically region free it seems iffy.

Neither of those were really just more of the same. They both removed and simplified crucial features from their predecessors without adding too much to the actual gameplay routine. From what I have seen and read this doesn't seem to be like that, so I personally am staying quite hopeful.

Yeah it wasn't that Fallout 4 was more 3. It removed some of the best parts of 3 and shoved in pointless base building.

If this is truly builds on HR I'm all in.

Soooooooooooo, stealth and taking every one out with silenced pistol head shots is the fkn best and actual firefights relying on solid FPS mechanics feel shithouse?

I guess I sort of asked for this to be a bit better, but I'll take it.

The combat looks improved but without playing it...still up in the air. lol

Uh, whats with the lip sync animation though? Was it this bad in HR? Honestly can't remember, last played that game in 2013/2014.

It wasn't particularly great in HR either, but I agree it looks a little iffy here. I don't see it bothering me though. I'm gutted I probably won't be playing this for a while.

Mankind Divided has a pretty deep and thorough recap for Human Revolution, around 16 minutes long. lol
Really? Source?

37$? Nnnhhhh...

These cons are annoying, but to me they're small technical matters that don't affect my experience too much. I can think of a few games which are technical marvels but rather bore me all the same.

Really, really hope they made the action great.

One of the guys who was streaming started from the very beginning and it was saved on youtube for a short time, but it's since been taken down. Very lengthy recap soon as you start a new game, 15+ minutes. Don't have an exact time because I was skipping ahead but I was 17 minutes into the stream and the recap was still happening.

The one worry I have with cdkeys is that they won't get me my key until launch day. Downloading freaking 55gb will take me over 10 hours.

Also worth keeping an eye out on is the pre-order bonuses each store have, if you care about that sort of thing. GMG and DLgamer seems to both offer the regular digital standard edition.

Pretty sure their email said you might receive the key beforehand or on release date

Reminds me, dammit I need to free up HD space

I know GMG offers the Day One edition, which grants all of the bonuses that were in the original augment your pre-order scheme, what other bonuses are there?

Not fussed about graphics in a Deus Ex game it all about gameplay and artsyle which makes me black out wonky animation. Malicks I need a next fix dance never bugged me in HR

Deluxe edition of course has more stuff, but my point was that cdkeys and instant gaming for example are not listing all of the day one stuff, so are they included? I don't know, but in case someone cares they should try to find out before buying.

Man, these deals are really making me consider pre-ordering. I dislike the practice, and it means playing before the patches... but it's Deus Ex. And it's a great price. And the reviews are coming in early, which suggests confidence. I need a strong, independent woman to make the decision for me.

It was in the stream.

Basically when you start a new game in Mankind Divided and choose your difficulty and control scheme, a video recap starts playing thats about 17 minutes in length and is essentially Human Revolution: The Movie. It covers every story beat in the game from beginning to end and is narrated by Jensen. So for anyone who hasn't beat the game or played DXHR you'll be just fine with the recap!

There's only the Day One edition which is pretty much the standard retail version of the game that'll be available at launch. The only other versions I know of existing is the physical Collector's Edition for all platforms and a digital deluxe version on PS4, and likely Xbox, thats the game with all the day one content plus the season pass.

The only thing I don't like about the Day One content is that the extra mission, Desperate Measures, doesn't appear to be integrated into the game. You have to select it from the main menu listed under "Jensen's Stories" and the game advises you not to play it until you beat the main game because of spoilers.

Anyways, looks like some reviewers received their copy yesterday and confirmed the August 19th date being the embargo ending:

....of course press get all the cool shit and packages...=|

Also if any of you are in Birmingham, UK then check out the Custard Factory mural they have for DXMD that lights up at night!

You'd think so, but if that's the edition cdkeys & all are selling, why don't they list all of the digital content that come with it? Like cdkeys for example only mentions the covert agent pack, nothing else. Where did the extra mission or all of the other digital stuff go, like the ost sampler?
I don't know.

They might be included but like I said, if someone happens to care about that stuff, they should make sure they are getting what they think they are getting.

If it's included in the retail release you get it. They buy retail boxes and then gut them and give you all the stuff included
