Ok here's the FOV slider in the display options menu, you can see that it tells you the percentage instead of the number the slider is at.

Edit: Had to remove these.

Can anyone with the game tell me how many hubs are in the game? Also how big are they and are they fun to explore?

I've only seen the first hub so far and it doesn't look like any of the hubs from HR. Wondering if there is a more cyberpunk city like China was in HR and if there is a lot to do aside from the main and side quests.

If someone responds, please spoiler it, I don't want to know how many there are, thanks

So uh, why are you playing on DX11? Tried it to see the differences? Maybe different graphical options / performance?

Digital Deluxe from GMG and risk very late key == no play on release OR regular edition from Steam and guaranteed long preload == play on release. Real 1st world problems here :/
Same problem though only because there doesn't seem to be a physical release of the PC game, at least on Amazon.UK.

Ah, that's a relief. Though a percentage slider is weird as long as 100% isn't something low like 70 then I'm perfectly fine with it. Thanks!

Ok so I tried out DirectX 12 and I noticed that my performance got worse but that's probably because it's not optimized yet and my system can't handle it.

We only have seen and know of 2 hubs so far: Prague and Golem City. The latter is more of a "cyberpunky" feel because of the claustrophobic spaces with cables and neon signs littered around. It's very oppressive because it's essentially a slums created for Augmented people.

Prague is a huge though. From the stream there's multiple districts that you can travel to via a subway system. A streamer playing a early copy streamed for nearly 8 hours and never left Prague. lol

I can't *believe* these lazy developers keep making file sizes so damn large. Btw, how does technology work?
For those with the PC version, how is the mouse/cursor?

Is it "floaty," or accurate. I hate that many console/PC releases have weird mouse acceleration and other garbage enabled, and you can't get rid of it.

How is the story thus far? On a scale from 1-10? Does it feel more "epic" or more "intimate," more grandiose or more "day in the life?"

Finally - how is the pacing? I felt that HR had just absolutely exceptional pacing - lots of continuously amplifying action and story beats; but with just enough side missions, fun characters, and mini games strewn about.

This! Would be nice, if you can clear that up DeathSparks :)

It was a little sensitive when I first booted up the game since it was at like 50% but once I put it down to 25% it was fine.

I don't know if anyone has the console versions of this game yet (other than reviewers, of course) but does anyone know if there's a slider for the sharpening filter on those versions? Not a big fan of that filter ...

no options aside from brightness.

I'm getting big Sleeping Dogs vibes from that second screen. Looks great.

All I want to know is how many hubs there are lol.

I'd be happy if there was 2. lol Even when HR had 2 the game still offered a number of locations you visited aside from the hubs and even in trailers for Mankind Divided we've seen at least
4
different areas.

Prague looks like you'll be seeing it a bit because of the day and night versions and there's quite a few side quests.

Now that you said that, yea. I think what I meant to say is that I hope the game is lengthy for DX game packed with content. I have faith in Eidos Montreal. 2 Hubs, 3...doesn't matter as long as I have a lot of stuff to do.

Does the day night cycle change while playing or is it based on where you are in the story? Like can you see it turn from day to night while in he hub?

Tbh that's not really a measure for how big an area is, there are people who would spend an awfully long time doing bugger all at times when they play games. Like there was this fellow over here on GAF who played NMS for 17 hours and never left the first system. I on the other hand felt like there was no need to stay once I was able to leave...which was about an hour in.

I'd be willing to be that it's story based.

So, i just got my copy brought by the delivery guy. I'm in Germany and I ordered the UK Version, which should have been here a few days after release on 23/8. This is almost a week early, wow!!

I have no idea, I'm guess it's 90 but this is the only thing I don't like about the port.

I wish they could've what the actual FOV is instead of percent.

Have you looked for config files in games installation folder or under MyDocuments? Set FoV in-game to e.g. 100% and then go looking for config file which gives you actual value.

I love it when you forgot a game is coming out then when you find out its only a few days away. Removes all the hype that you usually build up when you're waiting for something to release

Anyone know if there is Hud Scaling options (or just more sane default scaling this time)? Hud got super tiny above 1080p in HR.

So if one of you people that have it wouldn't mind downsampling from 1440p for a few moments and letting me know how it looks, would be appreciated.

I remember playing Mass Effect for the first time. I didn't leave the Citadel until 12 hours in.
