This game is my GotY.

I've played 32 hours so far (Xbox One) and haven't finished all sidequests and/ or the story missions. It's amazing. Much better than Human Revolution. The hub world is fantastic. This is the best hub-world-rpg since Vampire Bloodlines, imo. The atmosphere, the immersion, the amazing sidequests, the possibilities....fucking great.

Please, don't rush this game. Take your time and explore everything. You're gonna miss a lot of content and missions if you want to do the story missions first.

Game of the year.

Edit: I really like the main story so far. I can't say anything about the ending of course.

Not just that, they will miss it if they don't explore which mean they will miss out on lots of side quests. Some of which can be really long.

Fix your fucking shit Microsoft. At least looking at reddit others are having this issue too. Should be fun for support if they haven't fixed it when it unlocks in the US.

So this one did my head in. Couldn't find the key from the apartment. Didnt have the means to get in, so blew the door down with my shotgun and made my way in. I later found the card
at the apartment you find out about the rave, on the pc there was an option for apartment cleaning. I intiated that. Fast foward to coming back later. Apartment was cleaned and on the bed was a swant looking towel. I searched it and bam. Card revealed, even though I had no use for it by then
HA.

What the.. That sounds incredibly obtuse. If that really is the only way to obtain the keycard then that's really dumb.

I activated the
apartment cleaning
, let's see how this goes. Thanks for the tip though, it was driving me crazy.

Which mission is not again? Some details like who gives it to you. I might be able to explain because I've finished the game.

Yeah, I mean...this game has a (side mission spoiler -content-)
murder mystery
!!! And a really good one. I love those missions in RPG's. But I have a feeling that this mission isn't finished yet...(for me)

Anyways, you will miss side missions if you just do the main missions, so...don't!!!

This what I love to hear. Any game that can be mentioned along side Vampire Bloodlines has my heart. Loved HR, can not wait to dive in on PC!

I can't *believe* these lazy developers keep making file sizes so damn large. Btw, how does technology work?
No Collector's Edition on PC? :(

No one gives it, you have to find it yourself. It's about the drug Neon that's flooding the streets.

In all fairness if none of the stuff I mentioned sounds familiar to you, chances are you simply missed it. I'm not sure why the mission is labeled SM00.

Nice...I completely share his opinion.

Great to hear it! It really sounds like a complete upgrade of HR in everything but
story scope and feeling like a complete whole narrative
, but that still leaves us with a good
but smaller
story, and a true gameplay successor to the previous games.

Ok there is something I disagree with in Jim's review.

Despite providing over thirty quality hours, the game does have an abrupt end without giving away any clues that the final mission is, indeed, the final one. It’s presented as just the next chapter.

I simply cannot see how one can think that when they have been playing games for so long.

-you sense the urgency about the mission from the start.
-characters say goodbye in the previous missions.
-characters foreshadow it by saying something big is coming
-you work your way throughout the game to find out what this something is and get bits and pieces and when you finally do it happens
-you get a full speech at the start of the mission
-the soundtrack becomes tense
-a really long and different kind of mission in a special "this is the end game" kind of setting
-you also know that this mission is partly dependant on choices you made previously.

All these are signs of what a final mission is...as such I simply cannot see how one can think it wasn't. I knew it was the final mission the moment characters started talking about it in the previous mission.

Yep I missed it..where do you find it?
I wouldn't be surprised if I end up finding out I missed more side missions.

It's definitely not the only way. It was different in my playthrough...
there is another important apartment
. You can find it without getting
the first hint/ key card at the beginning of the game

Edit: I don't know if it starts the mission though. So you might have to go back to
your apartment building
first.

Question about a side mission:

There's a side mission where someone is trying to hack into TSF29. Does the task force HQ come under attack at some point if you don't find the hacker?

What are the best augs for a pure stealth ghost playthrough?

No idea...only time will tell once people actually do it. Cloak, all battery upgrades, high jump, strong arms for heavy lifting, hacking, upgraded Icarus dash and maybe add silenced footsteps to mix with cloak.

I have no idea because I found him, lol

Best augs? Hmm, I have no idea how they're called in english so I just want to say: It's not health, weapons or anything like that, lol.

I'm doing a stealth run right now. The most important augs (imo) are hacking, strength (for moving heavy objects), "high jumping", evading gas traps and the aug to destroy walls. That's what I'm using the most at least.

Edit: Oh and
Hacking from distance of course

I think gas is the least useful of all stealth ones because there aren't that many gas traps, beside all can be avoided if you have other augs like high jump, cloak, strength, hacking and Icarus dash. The first three being the most important.

I think remote hacking becomes useless when you have a silenced 10mm with emp bullets. It does the same thing, only much faster and easier. You can't really hack doors or computers with remote hacking.

I don't think it's that at all. I knew it was the final one before I even went there. Check one of my previous post in this matter above.

Gotcha, missed your post about it (obviously). I'll see for myself. Still very hyped, actually about to buy it on PSN right now.
