September 5th 2016 - A 17-year-old girl has been charged with murder earlier tonight, in connection to the death of defence attorney Mia Fey. The girl, who police say was found at the scene of the crime shortly after Fey's death, has been identified as the victim's sister Maya Fey.

Mia Fey - an up-and-coming name in the legal world, already associated with a number of high-profile cases in recent years - was found by police in her own office, at her practice Fey & Co. Law Offices. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police described the cause of death as blunt trauma, and cited "overwhelming evidence" for the arrest of Maya Fey in connection to the murder. No further comment was offered.

A trial has been scheduled to begin this Wednesday. It is believed that Phoenix Wright, a recent understudy of Mia Fey, will be representing the defendant.

The evidence adds up. She's clearly guilty.

Way to bury the lead about her being her sister and having no motive. Typical investigators, always siding with the prosecution.

Well... This is crazy. To think that I played this game 10 years ago and that's basically what kicked me into studying law. And now, here I am, in my final years of law school.

Reports claim there was a witness to the crime; a woman staying at the nearby hotel with a window overlooking the crimescene.

Well done, OP. I appreciate you for this thread.

On topic: :'( I'll never forget you, Mia. RIP.

The victim wrote Maya's name in her own blood. As a woman of justice, using her last ounces of energy to make sure her slayer gets the chair is only natural. Why even take it to trial, honestly.

I read something about how this Wright guy was even arrested for murder before and Fey got him off.

Something shady's going down here. I hope Chief Gant looks a little more closely at what's happening at that firm.

Why is a rookie defending her? I don't get it, he has one trial under his belt and he's defending a murder suspect? Shouldn't someone competent step in?
