This is like specifically made to counter Pixilate/Aerilate Hyper Voice, lol. Bulletproof would only be relevant if it had a secondary typing that made it weak to Grass, Steel, or Ghost somehow. But I expect this thing to be Dragon/Steel, probably.

Don't think Dragon/Steel has any 4x weakness though.

it also makes it a good substitute/walls user, as sound moves like to bypass them

I like the dragon and "Type: Null". The latter gives me vague Ghibli vibes. It's name confused the hell out of me when I first watched the trailer, though.

I like UB 01 too, but I assume those are more like monster-of-the-week special battles with creatures that you can't capture.

New Raticate is not what I was hoping for.

The upside to this is that the oppossing player will not know what ability you have, therefore won't be confident in using hypervoice pixilate, even though you may be carrying soundproof. Sort of like Levitate / Heatproof Bronzong.

Pro tip, just use bulbapedia or pokemondb when you want to know this kind of stuff.

Edit: Referring to people trying to guess what bulletproof does and what moves it counters.

Edit Edit: Like, they even already have Jangmo-o added on the pages, they are that up to date.

Basically it was Chesnaught who held the hidden ability for the longest, as it took now to have another mon gain Bulletproof

Just watched the trailer. Jango is totally our new Garchojmp-like Line. Looks cute I wonder what typing it gains as it evolves.

Type: Null? That's really weird name. I like how it looks tho .

LOL Raticate is so overstuffed. Love it lol.

That foundation feels like the Elite Four replacement. Funny how they have grunts all for themselves.

So wait with the games being 12 hours apart im guessing Moon will start off at night instead of day?

In my first post I complained about Type: Null and Jangmo-o but I take it back. Type: Null is an interesting little weirdo and Jangmo-o is uninteresting but fun to say. I wonder if it'll be Dragon or Dragon/Fighting? So far the only ones I'm unimpressed by are filler like the Lei and mushroom, but those could have cool final forms. Mudsdale isn't for me either.

Not-Pokemon playing roles in the story is cool too, I hope you can't catch them. I like that things are getting weiiiiird.

Still hate Zygarde cells.

Love Type: Null and UB-01. Type: Null gives off Shadow of the Colossus vibes and I love it. Also dig that there's basically a Jurassic Park island in Alola. Jangmo-o looks like a fossil Pokemon to me, but he's not rock so that's probably out of the question.

I 100% believe the pokemon snap feature is ohmori's excuse to get animators on figuring that out slowly. Next thing you know every pokemon has a bunch of walking and personality emotes

Such a big fan of Jangmo-o. I really hope the evolutions stay looking good. Don't want it to end up like a Salamance (though in that case the previous stages also looked like ass).
