Runs great 4K DSR maxed (Everything but AA, set to 8x and Shadows Resolution set to high locked @ 60fps).

980 SLI
16GB DDR4 RAM
i7-5820k

Is SLI working?

I have not tried with SLI turned off, but usually if SLI don't work the performance drops/cause issues. However the game seems very smooth and stable so I assume it's working or don't impact it negatively.

I would test but not able to right now.

I would presume that since this is a UWA release, and how it is not true fullscreen as a result?, that SLI cannot function properly anyway.
So that would be a single 980 there giving you your performance.

Yeah that's most likely true, as the game seems to be fullscreen "borderless" or something. No matter SLI didn't impact it negatively, at least that I noticed to warrant me turning it off.

Seems really well optimized, at least for me and it looks great during movement too.

i7-2600k
8 GB RAM
970

1080/60 everything maxed and it's OK, noticed a bit of stuttering but it's mostly in cutscenes. Gameplay seems fine.

Which settings should I turn down to maximise framerate without sacrificing IQ too much?

Isn't shadow usually the first? That and AA?

AO, the answer is almost always AO (or variants of AO like SSAO)

Any word on 21:9 support and quality of it?

Fair enough, will turn down AO a notch and see what effect it has. Is there a way to check framerate on UWP games? Can I use the GeForce fps counter or do I need other workarounds?

THe AA in this game is TAA, its different settings should have negligible performance impacts. Keep it up to 16x.
Ooo I'll turn mine up :D

Nothing seems to hook or overlay but I heard Dxtory should work.

It's really a shame that this game apparently sucks. Graphics look pretty good and I was looking forward to trying my first Xbox Anywhere title. Oh well, looks like it's going to have to be Gears of War 4.

Sucks is a big word. Alot of negative feedback comes from loading times also. Wich is not really the case with the pc version. :)

Well if you peak into the OT more or less everyone playing it enjoys it and seems to agree with Jim's review overall.

However ReCore runs great from what I can see which gives me high hopes for GoW4.

Might need to grab me one of those 1080's :D

A lot of people like it so far (outside of some reviewers), read the OT. Watch some streams and see for yourself if that is a game worth playing. I'm enjoying my playthrough (soon gonna be home and play some more...darn you work) so far.

So windows 10 anniversary edition definitely required to get this running?

Yes. You can assume all the XPA games will require it.

Recore is a good start yeah. Now Horizon and GOW coming up. Hopefully we start to see more of the upward trend of good releases. GOW must be right? With all those crazy settings the pc version has? :p

Yeah. It activates the play anywhere thing i believe.

Hah, I think I spent an hour perfecting my Dungeon run even after doing everything.
Such a great Dungeon that one. Just stumbled into it, I have no idea what its called :D

I do believe that this crazy ass UWP/A system must have some performance magic behind it or ReCore is really well optimized which is what mostly gives me high expectations for Gears.
I might need to jump on the new GPU train for that game on Windows, and it better be great. I could Horde Mode in that game for YEARS (Spent a long ass time on the 360 playing that mode).

Would have preferred PC but I'm not upgrading from Windows 8.
I'd still love to know the performance on PC though with anyone who has similar
specs.

Mine:

Windows 8
Intel i5-3330 cpu@ 3.00ghz
Ram 8 gig
64 bit Operating System, x64 based processor
Asus Superclocked Nvidia 970 4 gig
3.5 and yes, I filed for my $30!

Monitor-Dell S2340M 23" LED Full 1080p HD

I have a pretty old system (2GB 680m, i7-3720, 8 GB) and it still runs really nice at 1080 with mostly high settings, seems well optimized. Certainly runs at a higher frame rate and looks better than the XB1 version.

Anyone with a gtx 950 (or similar) mind sharing their graphics settings?

I have a i5 skylake with 16gb ram and a gtx 950. It's runs pretty good on high but I feel like it needs tweaked just alil bit. What fps option are most people using?

Can anyone talk about the motion blur options? There's a bunch I've never seen in a game before, and I'm curious about the advantages/performance hit they come with.

I exceed all of the recommended specs except system memory--just 8GB, rather than the recommended 16GB (I know, long past time to upgrade, and such an easy one at that). Just curious how much this will actually hamper my performance...

My info:

Windows 10 Anniversary update
Intel i5-4690 @ 3.50GHZ
GeForce GTX 970
32 GB Ram
Running at 1920x1080

Using "Mrillis Action!" to record FPS

Getting a constant 60/61 (65 is the highest I've seen so far) fps in all areas. Dipped once to 58 one a random paused screen. Have all settings completely maxed out.
