PSN - Flash Sale - US

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
Just got Broken Sword 5. Seems like a good deal. Any impressions, fellow PnC fans?

Has anyone tried the adventure time game? Thinking of that and day of the tentacle

I'm curious if it's any good too. There really aren't a lot of reviews out there for it.

edit: here we go! I might get it, sounds like it could be ok.

Saw a couple of people ask about the Adventure Time game so I'll offer my opinion since I doubt many people have played it.

The game overall is decent fun and is a mix of point and click adventure and some 3rd person action/battles. The battles are honestly kind of terrible, but you can get through them quickly and with little effort. The meat of the game is the point and click, told through episodes. The puzzles are pretty straight forward so you shouldn't have too much trouble.

I'd say the mileage you get out of this depends on your enjoyment of the IP. The story and dialogue was entertaining and I like the show so enjoyed the game in the end.

I got a free $10 from sony this morning and i saw there was a flash sale. Is there anything for ps4/ps3 that is worth getting or should i just save it for a AAA game that is coming out soon?

If you own a Vita buy Child of Light.

It is the perfect rpg for on the go with unique gameplay and a fairy that heals, slows enemy attacks, puts enemies to sleep and is controlled as if using a mouse cursor. There isn't any real grinding just story, battles and gameplay the battles themselves are easy input wise yet with the fairy can get very tactical.

This. Child of Light is great.

Still debating PS4 vs. Vita for Digimon..

Vita version is full content and runs good, right?

Yep. Only differences are resolution, frame rate, load times, and the Vita having local play.

There are a couple areas on the Vita where the frame rate falters a bit, but it runs great 99% of the time.

Picked up Mega Man Legends, already got Legends 2 from the last Flash sale and am
very happy I was able to get both on sale. Never played the Legends games, think I will start up MML this weekend.

I don't have a PS4 yet but I think I'm going to bite the bullet and get Darius Burst Chronicles, I'm probably getting a PS4 anyways in the next few months and $23.99 is a sweet spot price too hard not to take advantage of.

Question, does adding money into your PSN wallet force you to add a minimum of $5 when it's empty? When I got Legends I'm very sure my wallet was empty but after purchasing it I now have $1.01 left over.

Might just buy Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel (both versions).

Hhmmmm

PS4 or Vita for Dariusburst?

No cross-buy always hurts
The PS4 version has a local multiplayer mode, which is nice. Not sure about Vita, but if it does it would be very hard to see since the aspect ratio is different with black bars on the top and bottom of the screen.

So how's One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3? I've read One Piece a long, long time ago and I like it, but I'm not reading it anymore.

I kinda like Musou games, I'm not a huge fan but I like playing one every now and then.

I grabbed the Atelier trilogy collection and Catherine. Prices seemed too good to beat, although I'm not sure when I'll find the time.

Maybe if I can clear out all of my September games by the middle of October.

Broke down for Revelator at 24 bucks, was gonna buy it at launch but was broker than expected, then Best Buy didn't have any in stock for me to buy with their sweet GCU bonus.

Tempted to get Fairy Fencer for ps4 since a physical copy would be $80 here right now.

Still $24 is a lot so I might wait for the next time it goes on sale since Compile heart stuff does that frequently.

Also anyone thinking of grabbing Atelier trilogy should do so. This is the cheapest it's ever been, beating out even the golden week sale.

I'm also tempted by fairy fancer but thinking it'll get a steam release at some point :/ Digimon might be bought instead.

Anyone that likes RPGs should get Digimon. The vita version is the best since it's cheaper and plays pretty much the same. You don't need FPS for a turn based game like this. If you love persona/SMT it is a must own. Be warned that it's complex and grindy so a faq would be ideal. Go get it at that cheap price!

I'm wanting to get more games for my Vita. I already have Digimon on PS4, so I don't really need it portable. I'm curious about the Corpse Party game. Is it any good? Also curious about Akiba's Trip and both Senran Kagura games.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive is NOT meant to be played as a standalone. You must play the first two games on PSP to fully understand.

reads PSN sale thread title
o boy!

Vita version is 30fps, but it doesn't matter for a turn based RPG.

Thanks! No idea when I'll het a chance to boot it up since Exist Archive a WoFF cone out soon, but I'll add it to the neverending backlog...

Really odd question though. If my wife really likes Pokemon Go, could she like playing this on console?

I just skimmed through metacritic and one review says there's no challenge for the player at all, does that sound accurate? Just doesn't really tally with the game being complex and needing a FAQ. I'm on the verge of buying it but not sure.

I got Rayman Legends. I've been wanting a decent platformer on the PS4 and was holding out until there was a sale on Rayman. $40 seemed a bit pricey for it.

Seraphis Cain

bad gameplay lol
I hate that this sale happened at the end of the month when I'm nearly broke. I've had my eye on Dariusburst CS forever, and it's finally at a price I'd be willing to pay and I can't justify it. Dammit.

Excellent, now I own Superbeat Xonic. After the disappointment of Project Diva X, I needed a new rhythm game for the bus
