Can't get 4K/30FPS at insane with 1080...shoddy port confirmed.
I am laughing. But i am sure it will happen haha.

No idea for SLI but I don't recommend SLI in general. Always go for one powerful card.

My 1060 is ready (for when I can find the game at a decent price!). Thinking my i5-4670k will knock the framerate down some though, but hopefully will get 60fps!
Haven't kept up with UWP shenanigans lately but I just came into possession of a second GTX 970 for peanuts. Anything on SLI support?
I don't even have Windows 10 yet but I'm planning a new build very soon. This could end up being one of the driving factors for that upgrade.
Elephant in the room - how it performs:
TL;DR @ Ultra:
1080p60fps = GTX 1060
1440p60fps = GTX 980Ti / 1070
4K60fps = Titan X Pascal
A GTX 950 gives you locked 30fps with significantly better visuals than the console version.
Any word on SLI support?

According to Raynor, that setting has been offered for future systems and SLI power users: "The game will scale with new hardware that will come out," he said. "You need a really high spec to get in there. It looks awesome, but it's very GPU-hungry." (While I couldn't test Raynor's assertions that the game has been optimized to make the most of SLI graphics card performance, he insisted that users would see substantial boosts if they double-card.)
uh, yeah. show me all the graphs you want, im waiting for real user experiences.
So basically set everything to Ultra. Forget about the couple of Insane settings. Then tweak the resolution to hit your desired frame rate. Maybe take a look at the dynamic scaling option to allow a bit of headroom if / when needed. Got it!
Looks fantastic. I will get this set up when it unlocks tomorrow night in prep for Fridays mega session. The hype is real, for once!
This may sum up a good portion of the PC performance thread lol.Can't get 4K/30FPS at insane with 1080...shoddy port confirmed.
Game doesn't even look that gud.

SLI? Native DX12 MultiGPU support? Anything? There was a screenshot of graphics settings a while back where there was a MultiGPU option.If you have any technical questions not covered by the guide I can likely answer them. Anything about gameplay or story is off limits until the review embargo lifts.
Dynamic scaling.
Shouldn't insane be the same for these 2.

Looks like Gears is again gonna be the poster child of the Unreal engine.

I don't believe it's a port.This is looking like a beastly port. Holy schmoly.
I appreciate the ability to tank the performance with the "insane" setting for a few effects.
Just out of curiosity, is this game pretty taxing on the CPU? I would assume not, but you never know.If you have any technical questions not covered by the guide I can likely answer them. Anything about gameplay or story is off limits until the review embargo lifts.
Etta seems quite convinced that the XB1 version runs on the High preset already.Where does the Xb1 version stack up against PC settings, Low, medium, high, etc.?
That's what I thought as well seeing this guide.Looks like Gears is again gonna be the poster child of the Unreal engine.
