lmao, love it.
Red Dead Revengeance
Ha, Square Enix trying to co-opt some of that Rockstar magic
Has Rockstar ever done a remaster? It doesn't seem to be something they've ever shown any interest in, outside of a few comments they've made about being open to GTA remasters that haven't ever happened. If somehow RDR was the one they were going to start with, I feel like they wouldn't have allowed it to be put up on the Xbox One BC list. It just doesn't make sense given their history.
Bully Scholarship Edition
And GTA5, technically
Bully sure, I'm not so sure I'd call GTAV a remaster though.
Bully on the 360 and Grand Theft Auto V on PS4 & XB1 could both be considered as remasters.Has Rockstar ever done a remaster? That GAF logo.
I agree. Love John and his story, but I don't really need to see him back in the past. His character had a tremendous impact. I highly doubt it would be duplicated. Especially if his voice isn't going to be the same.I would be so pissed if this game has anything to do with John Marston.
Great character but I definitely don't think I need to see a prequel of him doing crummy shit with his crummy gang

That would be so disappointing.Man I hope this isn't just a "Read Dead Online" like GTA Online...
Well GTA5 XO/Ps4/Pc is remaster in all but name.Aka there is more remustarded than in most of actual named remastersHas Rockstar ever done a remaster? How is GTAV not a remaster?
just saw this
lmao
How is it a remaster? How is GTAV not a remaster?
How is it a remaster?
Neither of those look alike at all. Rolled up sleeves aren't exactly an uncommon thing. The way they're rolled up isn't the same, the hat is completely different, there are pouches on the side that aren't on the other outfit etc. As for the other person, other than the hat being folded slightly it's still entirely different.
Trying to guess who the characters could be based on a vague silhouette of non-iconic non-unique clothing and commonplace fashion choices that aren't in any way limited to that person seems really silly.
Definitely Bill Williamson. But I don't think the one in the middle is Marston, and the hat doesn't match. It's Dutch's gang, so he should be the one in the middle, not Marston.
However, the guy third from left does have the right hat for John Marston...
Didn't PS4/XB1/PC get a 1st Person Mode for it?
Yeah, I'm positive it'll be set earlier. Redemption ended in 1914, so there's not much room after that for another game if they're making another classic western.Maybe they're going back in time for this one? A little more "taming the wild west" and less "The death of the old west" type of story?
You and me both! SO invested in that world already. Hopefully a new red dead isn't that far about. Would be great timing.
Thinking late spring 2017 though.
I'm really shocked at people wanting to play as John Marston still... I'm praying it's a completely different cast.
Haha, that's why I did that little icon thing.
X-D
It is almost as if they can't wear different outfits or have spruced up detail and touches over the graphics of almost 10 years ago.
That's awesome.
Exactly. Plus, the wonderful thing about Redemption was that it still felt like Marston had a significant backstory without even experiencing it as the player. You could already feel the weight of it because of how the story was told.Me too. It's part of the Rockstar charm getting to know new places, characters and conflict.
A prequel with John Marston would already be pretty locked in term of main characters, the conflict, who's leader of the gang, etc. It sets some limits on what's possible. We would already know the conflict that John Marston have to go through and we would already know where it ends.
