Haven't booted this up in a long while and I'm actually kind of upset on missing out on some of those badges posted pages back now, lmao

If only all sets would just stick around (alternatively, if only it didn't take forever to boot up this game so I'd actually bother looking every day)

Ahh, first they make me buy amiibo then they make me buy pixels of amiibo.

Does anybody else have series or characters they always try to win even if it costs money?

Any time a new Nikki set or Digby from AC badge is released I drop cash until I have them all
Never more than $2 to get all of them in a set so it's not crazy or anything but I definitely know I'm gonna get the badges instead of giving up on them like I do for some sets.

Is there really no way to actually replace system icons with badges? So why do the badges exist that act as if they replace your system icons? I don't understand.

Hide the actual icons in a folder with your demos and other miscellaneous stuff. Put down your shiny new themed icons. Enjoy!

So, dunno if this is known, but I think badge arcade badges are saved in the cloud. Had to do a system transfer without the original system, and was sad that my badges would not carry over. However, when I loaded up the app, it told me there was something wrong with my save, repaired it, and then all my badges were restored! Awesome, I can just pick up where I left off!!

This was known but most probably forgot. Always good to get multiple sources on stuff like this that isn't really covered anywhere or happens that often.

I haven't been following Pokemon or Yo-kai Watch, so I thought I was seeing a bunch of new Pokemon plus new Darumaka and Floette evolutions.

Not sure if this is the right thread but can some people post their homescreens with badges? I have no idea what a good layout would be and all of the ones on the badge arcade that they show seem really gimmicky.

Looks like we got the Mario Maker sprites today. I didn't even notice Ayumi Tachibana was in there! Never thought I'd have her on my home screen. Loved Famicom Detective Club.

No new badges this week? They're unchanged at all from last week because "they were so popular!"

C'mon Nintendo, you could have at least added one or two new sets in there... :(

I've been playing nearly every day since it was released in America but as I near 1000 badges I think I'll quit once I hit that milestone. I have way more badges than I'll ever be able to switch around since you can't even have that many out at one time anyway and if they could also be used on Wii U or future systems then I might invest more time in the game but as far as we know these will be stuck forever on our 3DS' so I see no reason to continue.

I've probably wasted more time here than I'd like to admit, I still had some fun times and loved it when my few tries got everything or did amazing things with only one free play and also got frustrated the times I wasted 4 or 5 free plays to only get 1 badge because I calculated terribly even with so many tries. Never spent a dollar on the game, poor bunny.

I know Ashley's just a commonly-used badge theme because it's a character Nintendo can milk who isn't really being used, but that RPG stuff makes me think that maybe, just maybe, they're up to something...

I haven't touched this thing in awhile, but I picked it up today because I was bored and wanted something mindless to do while watching Luke Cage. The rabbit asked me if I was excited for Color Splash, I said "no," and he was all "Oh. Sorry you don't like the series, then."

I mean... Is that really how they see the backlash to Color Splash? Is this game's inevitable bombing just going to be Other M Round 2 (And is the same thing going to happen to Metroid again)? Because IIRC, they use those responses for marketing.

It's more a thing from kokosac actually (the artist for Wario Ware/Rhythm Heaven). He's been doing some Mother 3-style sprite work in his twitter for a while now, it seems natural that it'd extend to Ashley, as it's definitely it's one of his favorites designs.

I was getting a bunch of the Pokémon badges just now and noticed the weirdest thing. There are 151 first gen badges right now, but there is no Haunter. I went through a few times and it turns out there are two male Nidoran.

Very strange.

Even weirder, Haunter is in it. In the game with the Ghastly, if he falls through the whole, I guess he evolves and comes through the roof? Haha. Still two Nidoran though.

All of these Ashley badges feel weird. They always have characters that were never in WarioWare, like she has her own series or something. I know they're just there for fluff, but it always feels like there's some secret "Ashley" series that we've just never seen.

Huh. And Haunter's a really popular one, too, to the point I'd argue he's just as popular as Gengar... If there're 2 Male Nidoran, maybe Haunter was meant for the same "Poison" set and there was a mistake?
