PS4 Pro boxes getting prepped

If my walk-in store wasn't an hour away, I would definitely do that. But I really don't feel like driving an hour just to go pick up the console (when I already have my PS4 sitting at home). So I'm letting the Pro come to me.
I don't think a retailer is going to open up a PS4 Pro that they shouldn't even be taking pictures of to check the power supply, but you can rest assured it's dual voltage. All PS4 models are even if that's not officially the case.
What's the greatest console box of all time? I'm pretty fond of the PS2

I noticed Google, MS, Apple just launched their new 2016 lineup and all coming in at higher prices, pretty impressive Sony kept the Pro at 399 even with its significant specs upgrade. To be fair, if they could, Sony would have Pro at a higher SRP...
Still it underlines Sony understanding of the market and their intention to keep Pro as a traditional gen console. It is this down-to-earth #4thegamers low-key approach that they've succeeded, and they are honestly wanting to stay true to that ethos.

That just means more stable performance in most cases. Not a boost from 30fps to 60fps. Still a positive though

I know all previous Playstations are dual voltage, I've been taking advantage of that fact for years (had to buy a separate power brick for 360) but the playstation website continues to list the the Pro specs with single voltage (with regular on dual). I'm nearly sure it's a long uncorrected typo but I'd love to know 100%

Seeing these game boxes makes the Pro feel more real than it ever has. Can't belive this thing is coming in just several weeks.
You can support higher resolutions as well as higher FPS you know...GPU generally has little to do with FPS in CPU bound games like BF1 is.
That CPU upclock is going to help regardless of whether or not they increase the res to a locked 1080p or above

I struggled with this very debate. Once I determined that I was getting the PS4 Pro, it became a no brainer. The ONLY benefit would be to pay no sales tax, but now most states have forced Amazon to comply.

Same, I figure the trade in value for my current PS4 will knock close to half the price off, I think the Gamestop value is $150 right now for PS4's.

If they think there won't be any demand shortfall despite having no bundle, that only allows them to introduce a bundle next year that comes together with a game that makes Pro more appealing.
I don't know why it's showing like that on the website. Boxes are just region appropriate, which is why you can't rely on those. If you were to check an UK box, it'd show a different voltage than the one for US etc. You have to check the power supply inside. But I've used one in three different continents. You don't have to worry; it works fine.
