Sometimes I can't fucking stand the rollback in this game. Teleporting jabs. I don't even want to play online. 
Patience is what gets you through Gold. Just block and punish when they do something super unsafe. At that level, chances are high the opponent will just hang themselves if you let them.

Edit: Vega is my nightmare, can't never win against one. I find myself having trouble against Alex and Necalli too (Necalli has a DP and a godlike jab, what else does he need lol).
You never combo'd after EX head butt, either lk tackle for the knockdown or f.mp for the reset mixup.
And you gotta antiair, you were letting him jump all over you.
Necalli has a 3 frame AA jab, invincible DP, AND a command grab. If he gets in your face, prepare to cry.
And yeah, forgot about the freaking command grab. His st.MK is very deceiving range wise and his cr.MK has great range too, being special cancellable to boot.

I really need to stop playing at this time. I get tons of matches with one sided lag and of course I get all of it. You can tell so easily when the game is nearly unplayable for you yet your opponent hits all his combos and reacts to everything as if nothing is wrong. They really need to fix that.

So, do people get punished for rq'ing for real now? Because I still encounter people doing it like it's pre-punishment patch all over again.

Punished if they do it more than once. 3 times maybe?
They lose 1000lp and are banned for matchmaking for a short while.

Most people who rq tend to have winstreaks.
I don't know how long they think they can prolong that streak with just 3 tries. Is there a reset on the 3 times?
Doesn't it reset after 24h if i'm not mistaken?

That would explain it.
8 frames man, they holding him back. everything's safe now because of 8 frames. -8 moves are now 0. He's gotta play on PC so he's better. no lag there at all. He also needs to stop playing low tier characters like mika and ryu.

even if it isn't like mnz said blaming the game for you sucking is a sucky thing to do. need to just realize you're bad at the game it's that simple. you see someone like snake eyez always complain yet people like stupendous and itazan are actually doing decent with gief regardless of the character's faults. learn to adapt or move on.

Also, I watched that latest episode of Excellent Adventures and Holy Shit, this guy is rewinding frame by frame after HE gets a crush counter and messed up a follow up dash. He's trying to frame it as though that execution error cost him the match.
This is not a good look for him. And somehow that execution error is also the fault of 8 frames?

Excellent Adventures has suffered a bit since SFV and this latest set of episodes with no guests (and that were taped a million years ago) has been a drag. I'm looking forward to the next set though.

Every time I decide to jump into some ranked, it's like clockwork. First match is almost always a rage quitter. I've had it happen a couple more times throughout the night. That and the fact that a majority of players don't wanna play the full set. They either take the points and run or they lose and don't wanna run the risk of losing any more points and run. It makes the whole process of moving up to the next level slower and frustrating.
