Yeah, it's the norm for me but weekends just make it even worse. I have 6 losses over the weekend and 3 wins, 3 draws. I just shake my head Everytime someone says "I'll switch if this doesn't work". I guess people prefer to have a nice long drawn game instead of going for a team comp that could easily give us the win.

Thats the point, there is no bonus for a rocket or nade direct hit like headshot. 120 as a base for a direct hit should go up while splash goes down

You're worried that "omg it kills a 150 health character if it hits directly", ignoring the fact there is only one, unlike a hs arrow that can take out a 250 character (and lets not talk about scatter).

everyone else would survive if they increased the damage of direct hits by 50. Lowering splash to 10-65 (currently 13-80) makes it so those people that can aim still have to 2 shot any 200+ health person and get a bonus on the most annoying person to hit for them (have you tried hitting a tracer as someone that has travel time?)
I really think you are going about trying to fix these characters the wrong way. But I've said my bit, we all have our opinons.
I could live with this as a Pharah main. I'd be fine even without the helmet passive and just 250 HP, I've been two shot by McCrees way too often.

Yea that passive would be too good. 150% damage on headshot is more realistic. And I of course wasn't advocating for all three of those changes, just a few single changes that I think could help.

There is a conversation to be had about Junkrat and Pharah balance. But I'm definitely not starting by upping their damage output. Pharah doesn't need to do more damage, she needs to stay alive longer.

-Armor
-250 HP
-'Helmet' passive, can't be headhsot.

All sound better to me. She does plenty of damage already.

These are excellent ideas. Really sets Pharah apart.

If you flip boop upside down you get poob

If you spin boop 180 degrees you get dooq

If you flip boop horizontally you get qood

All of this can be typed with your keyboard using normal characters. Clearly this is a clue for the Sombra ARG, guys. Can this be used as a cypher??

make it stop
please

I'll take more mobility options over a buff to her rockets.

Shorten cooldown of boost and let you boost in any direction.

Yeah, I was surprised that you could only jet boost in one direction. I would be down with more mobility options, along with Pharah's health going to 250 (200 HP, 50 armour). McCree and Soldier should be her counter, and it should stay that way. But they shouldn't be able to curb stomp her.

Nah, i love pharah but i don't think she needs the 250hp. Especially not with the mobility buff i suggested. That would just turn her into a nightmare. Mobility buff would already raise her survivability, but also raise her skill ceiling in a really fun way.

People already do it with her concussive blast but shortening the cooldown of concussive blast would make her real obnoxious to face against and i want her to be able to do it without facing a wall.

if Trump is a Hanzo main then Jill Stein is an attack symmetra main

and that's my political overwatch line before the election ends

People who spam a character to try and get you to pick it, naw fuck you.

It's just as annoying as people who say thanks when they're trying to blame us for losing

Hey if anyone wants to group up with a rank 2,500 PS4 player, please add me. I'm Lisu_Killer_UK. I don't have a mic yet, but I'm getting one in from Amazon soon. Been trying to solo que for a bit now, but it feels really stressful when you can't communicate with your team.

I've started to learn Genji, I see where all the fuss is about LOL. I'm mud with his ult but getting to grips with his basic toolkit is real rewarding when things go to plan. I'm probably going to be playing every day or every other day so I look forward to playing with some of y'all :)

Yeah, that really fucking annoys me. They lock down Genji or Hanzo and then furiously click Reinhardt or Zarya when the rest have made their choices.

Fuck off and let people play how they want to play. If you're so determined to have a Reinhardt in the team then you fucking go Reinhardt!

I've not played for a while, not since the Halloween event ended. But I might start up again and just say "fuck it, no longer am I going to be support". Competitive Season 2 I've played 95% Lucio. It's about time I had me some fun.

I've had fun as a support main this season, but for s3 I'll be a mein, with ana as my go to support and Lucio for koth because i still like to play lucio on koth.

I think Ana would be my main if I was on PC. I like her whole set up.

Not so easy to be quick and accurate with her healing on consoles though. Which is a shame.

I deeply regret for having played as support for my placement matches in both season( Mercy for S1, Mercy/ Lucio for S2), I'll never repeat the same mistake, it'll be Winston/ Mei/ Reinhardt for S3.

nobody goes into the game thinking 'i'm gonna main support'

then responsibility hits you

I kinda was. Was doing it this season because i thought it would be fun.

And it is.

But fuck me sometimes.

Also i think i need to start season 3 with a new cooling system. I'm hovering around 60-70°c which is too high, and that's during winter. Already had some cpu straight up shutdowns. :(

Thinking of getting the be quiet pure rock.

I came into the game loving Lucio. He has such a cool design with his wall running, speed boost. Hell I love his animations and character flourishes too. The problem is when you decide to main support it can be so frustrating, when you realise that if the other team wants you dead you die. Especially in solo que when you can't call for help. In the end the best thing about learning Lucio was movement. After maining Lucio, I am a weave and dodge master now all I need to do is learn how to track my shots better.

I seem to gravitate towards Tank or Support.
Usually play Zarya or Mercy, or Pharah on offense.
Can't seem to find a defense I like yet

I'm mostly joking, because i still really like playing her. :p

She's not super strong though. Maybe with the new patch she will be. I'm looking forward to having my main tank not get melted immediately by zarya.

Oh absolutely. Weekday afternoons are much more enjoyable. Wonder which demographic makes up the Most of the Players around that time? Aside from lazy university students like me.

I use weekends to lose all those sr points ive gained during the week.

Haha yeah. I've had that happen except with tanks. Like when you're on a payload or cp map and you're late picking and the only logical choice left is Reinhardt because every other role was filled. It's like damn now I got responsibilities.

Sometime i wish id never started playing this game. At the moment im finding it nearly impossible to play anything else. Ill start something new, maybe play for an hour than think to myself ill have a quick break and a game of overwatch.... 2 hours later im still playing overwatch. a week later ive not turned on the new game in a week and need to start over from the beginning.

I went into the game thinking "I'll main Torb".

lol

I always laugh at those playing Torb on control maps such as Lijiang. That poor Torb yesterday couldn't keep his turret up for more than a few secs most of the time.
