Not thread whining, but what's the point?

It's a compressed YouTube video in 1080p. Can't discern anything.

I never knew how much pop in there was on this for the HD remaster. It's still cool and all to get the game in native 4K though.

It's compressed, but you can change to 2160p60.

You know, maybe i'm on my own with this, but i.. i kinda prefer the game at 30fps, the cutscenes felt more cinematic, at 60fps it just feels a bit odd?

At 60fps, the game *plays* much better. And any lack of "cinematic-ness" quickly wears off after a few min of playing.

I wonder if we'll have some of the experiences we had when TV's all of a sudden got higher refresh rates and people were freaked out because things looked "too natural."

It's hard to tell how much better it looks without a comparison, but it's insane how dated this looks now. I remember thinking it still looked as good if not better than most games made for PS4 when I first played LoU Remastered, but those models are looking really rough after playing stuff like Uncharted 4.

I can't wait to see what the next batch of Pro games look like, it's incredible how far devs have pushed the regular PS4, especially after a lot of people seemed initially down on the jump from PS3 to PS4 graphics.

Oh, that's awesome that they got the 4K mode to 60fps. I was led to believe up to now it was going to be 4K30fps at most, outside of the usual 1080p60fps.
Well there's two "4k" modes to choose from - the true, native 4k (3840x2160) mode at 30fps with the better shadows from the 30fps 1080p mode of the OG PS4 version, and the checkerboarded up-rendered 60fps "4k" version with slightly lesser quality shadows.

how do I enable 2160p resolution on my computer? I don't have a 4K monitor but i have a 4K tv, and when I change the screen to my TV the max allowed in "screen resolution" settings is still 1080p

I'm fine with non-native/checkerboard 4K if it's 60fps.

The game has that weird soap opera aka 'auto motion plus' like effect. I'm guessing there was some kind of interpolation process to bump the game that was originally 30 fps to 60fps.

I can select the 4K in chrome and firefox.

Yeah.

Nvidia card? Go to the Nvidia control panel -> Change resolution.

Under PC you should have a 3840x2160 (native).

Oh theres a checkerboard + 60fps option? I thought this was 4k30 only. I'll take the 60fps option in that case

Damn, it really doesn't matter how many times I watch somebody play the opening of this game, it's still remains the most stressful piece of gameplay that I've ever experienced. It's remained surprisingly tough to watch.

I only have a 1080p screen but each time I've watched a 4K PS4 Pro video I've really been blown over by what a difference super sampling can make, even when that's the only improvement to the game. The clean lines add far more to the overall quality than I ever thought they would, everything seems so much more solid.

There's a much better video out there of the 4k mode on youtube...I meant to post it since yesterday, but there are so many threads covering PRO....If you don't want to pay for DF's videos and want a sneak pic at the 4k mode, the quality here is pretty good.
