thats completely different, games are licensed products for the system. The share button exists for sharing the content with others so add a checkbox stating its 18+ and be done with it

The age-gate supposition is a little odd. If they're trying to keep things "family friendly" are they only going to remove nudity? Or are they going to go after things that have blood, strong language or drug use? I find it hard to believe they'd actually do that.
Guys, I'm not really "mad". I just wanted to have a conversation about how companies are happy to sell this product and are happy to use the sharing feature for free promotion but then punish the user for using these services in a way that affects their image. I used the PlayStation tool to upload directly to twitter, I don't believe it's my problem to protect their users from their product that they make money from.

Likely clipping issues. Common with clothes in almost every game, but especially so in Open World games with loads of characters and small details.

Don't know exactly but I think Nintendo is not censoring pictures (or posts) in Miiverse for PG18 games (but heavily in Miiverse thread for lower rating games).

Usually, anything that's covered by clothing isn't textured so that they don't run into these problems. lol

Just that the panties were likely clipping as it's a fairly common gaming issue across almost all genres. Unless the devs have some purpose for actual crotchless panties, in which case it's fully intentional.The real question is indeed: why did they model the vagina? The character looks or seems to be a random AI too, which means all female models likely have them. Seems like too much work for something that usually stays hidden or is covered by solid panties.
It's not the fact that content is in the game that's the issue, it isn't, the issue is that content was shared.
Whether that shared content can be viewed by anyone, even those on a parentally restricted account, isn't known.

I do understand however that it does bring up a question regarding sharing streams etc. but you would think if a parent had parental settings on, a game like Watch Dogs 2 would not be the first to pop up in suggested streams/screenshots. As I haven't ever used those settings on anything, so I can't really say, but it is my assumption that is how it works?

If this is a first time offense though it'd be better for Sony in the long run to simply issue a reminder/warning. The ban is dumb. If it were me I'd ban their asses right back once the Scorpio drops.

I was going to comment this, most people "shocked" by this are probably from the US. Everyone else whos commented like its whatever, is probably not. Hell even Germans are more laid back with these things and they have stricter censorship especially with videogames compared to most of the rest of Europe.
As an American, now living in Europe I can confirm that the things that are "controversial" in the US are not controversial whatsoever here.
