I know this isn't a confirmation that they're making a new Wave Race, but I am excied. For a long time now, I've thought that Wave Race would be a perfect launch title for NX/Switch. It's not a system seller, but it'd give early Switch owners something moderately popular to play without Nintendo having to stack the Switch release date with all the big hitters, which would likely cause the system to suffer from a content drought for a while.

My first thought was whether this is just a trademark renewal or not, but GAF gonna GAF lol. I'm not really into racing games, but it'd be a nice addition to the Switch library.

Never got into Wave Race but I've heard good things so I'm open to seeing what the game could be like.
With MK at launch I imagine it's a 3DS game or a later in the year (at the earliest) release for Switch. It's a series known for impressive graphics so I imagine it will likely be for Switch.

Sadly, we don't get GB games on 3DS anymore. Pokémon was a massive exception, but if this is a VC release, it's the N64 or GCN (for Switch?) one.
