I don't get the sentiment for days gone and paragon anyway, drawn to death I can kinda see. Paragon was a brand new game from epic on a PlayStation console. Days gone is a return to consoles after awhile from a first party studio.

I remember those games for all the wrong reasons.

You go out on a bang, that's how I see it. It reflects better on the conference and people's impressions of the conference and its games. Ending it on a clanger is just a sure way to make people resent a game for reasons it doesn't necessarily deserve.

Drawn to Death and Paragon have their place in an event like this for sure, but not as closers. Always save the best for last.

4 unannounced games seems like the right number of games they announce at PSX each year but just because they are unannounced panels doesn't mean they are unannounced games. If Spider-Man being there was going to be a surprise then they wouldn't announce that panel.

Bet neither shows up. I don't even want to hear about death stranding personally that tgs showing was so pointless and just shows Kojima can do anything. Days gone they'll probably let cook a bit more so probably won't be shown until e3 with a release year

Square enix has the most upcoming games that I have interest in so it's a shame they won't be there. Guess Nier automata is more unlikely to match Japan's release date.

I absolutely agree with this. Final Fantasy XII (was playable at PAX), the slew of Kingdom Hearts games, Nier, and the wishful thinking that Dragon Quest Heroes 2 and Dragon Quest XI would get localization announcements.
