A bit off answer for the question but I have been using an app called AppSales to track sales on Google Play. It's not BF specific tho.

App-sales is one good source, though it doesn't differentiate region-exclusive deals. Android Police also has a great list of deals that it keeps fairly up to date:

Also, as an addendum to my above post, SE put Final Fantasy V on sale for $7.99 (50% off).

Edit: I was mistaken regarding Artifex Mundi games on Amazon Underground. Most of them are free, but not all.

Lego Jurassic World is on sale at Google Play.
Is this the same as the console versions or is it scaled down in any form?

Reviews on the Play store say it's cut down with fewer missions and features and different music, but are still largely positive.

Anyone have any experience using one of the newer Xbox One controllers with bluetooth as an android controller? Google search makes it sound spotty at best without rooting. Was considering buying one for use both as PC controller and an android controller.

deckdedungeon 2 is out!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Nussygame.DeckDeDungeon2
i've made a post regarding their previous game, deck de fantasy, this should be similar, basically a deck building rpg
just played a bit, this game's mostly english now

Just found this ancient post because I've been playing BuriedBornes a ton lately [it's free] by the same developer. Highly recommend checking it out. I'm about to download everything they put out I like BB so much. [distilled dungeon crawler. you push forward, always deciding one of two rooms to go in, have 3 pieces of equipment and 5 skill slots, no inventory]. Tons of stuff to find, a story that requires many playthroughs [you're supposed to die, and can even run into past warriors]. Great game.

Great little app, thanks!

I was super surprised that almost nothing went on sale for Black Friday. I don't know why, but I was totally expecting hundreds of games to be put on sale... but very little actually did, overall. Like, tens of apps, not hundreds.

Can someone point out the 'best of' their games? I like hidden object games but found the one or two I randomly downloaded pretty atrocious.

Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink (Full)
Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride (Full)
Grim Legends 2: Song Of The Dark Swan (Full)

Are some of the best that are free.

Anyone got any fun match-3/similar games with some sort of character progression stuff that's NOT a gacha hell? I'm sick of continuously getting new cards or heroes or whatever and having to first grind them to max level, then grind for evolution mats etc for negligible gain in strength, rinse and repeat forever.

I don't think I've played a ton of these. I can remember You Must Build A Boat and the other stuff from that guy and Good Knight Story, which was fucking frustrating but fun. Really wish the first Puzzle Quest was on Android, PQ2 is, but the reviews are saying it's almost like a demo for the PC version or something.

Might and Magic Clash of Heroes is fantastic. As for the f2p stuff, Doctor Who Legacy is less "gacha-y" than any of the others I've played, but it still has some of the mechanics though. But if you haven't played Clash of Heroes go play it now.

M&M Clash of Heroes is pretty amazing. I played through the game on Nintendo DS tho.

You Must Build A Boat is quite fun while it last. A bit grinding tho.

I used to really like the original Puzzle Quest. However, I'm not a big fan of the latest movies adaptations.

Guys, I need help. I'm getting this parsing the package error for most apks (Amazon Undergound, Kodi etc.) even though my phone meets requirements (Android 5.5.1), I have unknown sources enabled and the apks aren't corrupted. Any ideas on solutions?

Try doing it from SD card if you've got one? Only other thing that comes to mind is that the apk for whatever reason just isn't compatible with your phone despite having 5.5.1, and unknown sources checked. And I doubt the Amazon Underground app only works on 6 and above.

I work at Adult Swim Games but wanted to let Android GAFfers know that we just released Amateur Surgeon 4 on Google Play (same day as the iOS version!).

AS4 is part remaster/collection from the first three games plus 20 new operations too. The first two Amateur Surgeon games never came out on Android, so for some people this may be completely new content. Free to download, and of course it does have in-app purchases.

Give it a go!

Adult Swim games have always been super fun. I might give this a shot.

The game seems great, but I don't see any of the IAPs to remove advertising. Is there any way to remove ads? I don't mind paying the developers and publishers for a good game, but if I can't remove ads I tend to uninstall it, regardless of how good it is. (Weird, maybe... :) )

Thank You!

EDIT: After playing the first few missions, some a couple times, I've only seen 2 ads. 1 for another Adult Swim game the first time I started it up and another for some coins that was completely voluntary.

I'm Android only, so this is all new content to me. This is an excellent Trauma Centeresque clone. Good work!

Yeah there may be some cross-promotion in there but the only other ad should only be if you choose to see it for some currency. There is no in-app purchase to turn off ads, but please let me know if they ever become intrusive. Thanks!

Will I need any priory knowledge of the game series' story to play this?

None is required.

However, a lots of characters were recycled from the previous game and the game is not afraid to refer back to it in dialogs. So if you see something quirky it's probably throwing back to prequels.

Gamasutra.
Is there some way to find which games support, e.g., PS4 controller via Bluetooth? I was thinking you could pair a controller and then okay Pac-man CE on a tablet, but that doesn't seem to work. I'd like to find a good list of games with controller support, especially Humble Bundle games...

Thinking of getting Final Fantasy Tactics. Does it run ok on lower end tablets?

It ran pretty well on my old LG Optimus L90 phone, so as long as it's equivalent to or faster than a Snapdragon 400 chip, it should be perfectly fine. It was technically out in Japan (via Square-Enix's app store) for a long time before it finally came over to the Play Store, so I would think that it would work on just about anything, outside of really ancient/under-powered devices.

Has anyone took a punt and side loaded this on an Nvidia Shield? If so does it work?

I'd grab it in a heartbeat but the Play store lists it as incompatible.
That's odd, checking the compatibility on the web version of the play store form my computer it lists my Nvidia Shield Portable as being compatibile. Maybe the tablet or the TV Shields aren't compatible for some reason?

Solitairica is out on Android finally. It has been on iOS for a while and has some good reviews.

It's a Solitaire-based roguelike. So far it's pretty fun, so I recommend checking it out if it looks like your kind of game. It's free to play (I haven't hit a pay wall yet - just ads), but there is a $3.99 purchase available to remove ads.

Some more self promotion, sorry. :)

Piczle Lines Jr. Green, the latest instalment of our Piczle Lines Jr. series, is out now!

My dad likes these. He's not yet finished with the first though.
Ha! Nice! Thanks! :)

We're releasing Piczle Lines DX in January. F2P, loads of free puzzles, more to purchase (cheaply) if you want them, story mode, puzzle mode (pretty much an all bells and whistles modern update of the original 2010 game). I'll be sure to post about that here too when it's out.

Old school bump; Dosbox Turbo, using Dosbox manager. Master of Orion plays perfectly. Im using a samsung 10' 2014 edition with stylus. Especially fun on those long holiday drives when it's my turn to relax in the back seat.

Damn I had just bought these.

Anyone know what's different, if anything, about the free underground version of these apps?

Mild advertising when you start them up is basically it. And in my experience they seem to need to go online more often than purchases do, but I don't know that for sure.

If you haven't played them and bought them on Google play you should be able to refund them still.

I think there's no google sign in, so no achievements?

That was my take from previous Amazon Underground apps
