Yeah, apparently you have to actually hook up your Touch controllers and do the setup, then restart Oculus Home and then Quill, Medium and Dead & Buried will show up as free.

On a side note, looking around at what people have done with Quill... holy fuck. This thing looks amazing.

oh my god I want superhot so bad. but I already bought it on steam. feels shitty to need to pay the full $25 again... ugh. will probably pass. VR is expensive enough as it is :(

Got my shipping notice and tracking number. Doesn't look like it's left the facility yet though, hopefully it'll still be here by the end of the week.

My amazon delivery was just rescheduled to Wednesday. Bummer. Had even paid for overnight shipping. Guess I'll get a free month of prime as a consolation prize. :(

Did you get a shipping notice, with email subject "Your Oculus Sales Invoice"? I got the codes in a separate email at the same time, but since they seem so behind that UPS is telling people about shipments before they are, maybe you're just a little more behind than most?

It's easy on the Oculus store to go to the Touch section to see what's compatible, but is there a good way on Steam? You can narrow games by headset support but for controllers there's just "Tracked Motion Controllers" which thus far has been all about Vive. The only "Touch" curator I find is one for touch-screen gaming.

I know SteamVR should make it work with some existing games, but without complete parity of buttons and features it doesn't seem it would always work well.

After playing on my friends vive I have found the rift to be severely lacking to the point of the last month or so I haven't used it much. Now my touch has arrived and messing around with it last night I remember how amazing VR is again.

Then like a complete VR noob I screamed like a girl when I got rushed by a massive meat head playing American Football in VR sports.

£180 for touch controllers with I totted up £130 worth of free software, bargain of the year. I tip my hat to all the guys and gals at Oculus it really is something special and the future is very bright in VR land.

Touch you all in the rift soon.

Any gaffers want to friend me up for a bit of MP look up Vanmunt.

My touch controllers are set to ship dec 6 to 15 and I have yet to even be charged. Should I be worried I got forgotten?

If you don't see an email by the 13th, or maybeee the 14th I'd be worried as generally it's 48 hours from processing to shipping but sometimes less.

So as per ups I should be getting mine by the end of the day. With the amount of free software you're getting, this thing pretty much paid for itself.

Really waiting for my third sensor to ship now. Definitely felt limited when i wanted to turn around and look behind me in the demo for touch.

can anyone recommend a USB/HDMI extender that works with the rift? I need about 3-5 more feet.

After being salty for a decent chunk of the day, I finally got my shipping email and game codes! I've already installed Superhot, Ripcoil, Toy Box, Bullet Train, Sports Challenge and The Unspoken. I'm pretty excited to finally see how Rift + Touch shakes out as I have experience with all three major headsets. I'm also way more stoked than I thought I would be about the launch titles. I will definitely be downloading Quill, Medium and Dead&Buried as soon as possible.

A question for people who have used Medium: How possible would it be to export a model to a 3D printer?

I had the invoice but no codes. I actually just got the code this morning! Funny enough the email says my order is preparing to ship. *looks at Touch box*

So i just played with Toybox, Medium and The Unspoken

Medium...Holy shit! So for those old enough to remember what playing Super MArio 64 was like, this is the artist equivalent. Words can't describe the feeling you can when you can manipulate a mesh with one hand and sculpt with the other.

It's rough but this is clearly the future of 2d content creation.

For those who have used TiltBrush, this seems a lot more intuitive and polished at first glance.

Your basic Touch tech demo so far. Really cool stuff though. I mean you can even spin the wheels of the tank with your fingers. really trippy.

Ill try this one later when i set up my 2nd sensor. Didn't realize one sensor wasn't setup :/

"Due to operating conditions, your package may be delayed." Sigh. I even told them to hold it at Will Call so I can pick it up but I guess the package arriving at 5AM wasn't early enough to hit some cut-off.

Oh well, looks like I will get to join the fun tomorrow.

Got my custom VR Lenses from VR Lens Lab and holy shit!!! So much sharper than before, even better than with my glasses.

Now I can enjoy it :D
