No Man's Sky blew it big-time but it also came from a tiny team of 10 people that had no idea what they were doing

SFV was a colossal fuckup by Capcom after the huge success that was SFIV

Really is there anything else? Mighty No. 9 was a major disappointment but not as mainstream of a disappointment. SFV is still liked and played by fans, it just failed miserably at getting much of anyone else to buy it. No Man's Sky is leagues more of a failure than anything else this year.
