O I'm not lapis refreshing when tm farming. It's not high on my list though. Atm I'm still doing singles sadly. I have a lot of kefkas so they won't take long.
If you are trying to use nox on mac they recently released a full version (no longer beta). It does not support the scripts the windows version does, but you can download HiroMacro from the app store. In order to get that to work you need to "root your device" in nox by clicking the top right icon I believe. I am unable to access these settings as it just crashes nox anytime I try to click it. You can copy/paste the macro from reddit into HiroMacro and it will run the macro inside nox and allow you to use your mac without interfering with the tm farm. There were a list of instructions on reddit that I might be able to dig up if you need more help. Since I can't root my device in nox I just use a keyboard recorder and it follows my set up mouse clicks and moves and does the tm farm that way. I can't use the laptop while it's running, but I can stop and resume as needed. Usually when I'm tm farming I don't use my laptop anyway because I'm playing my consoles or right now it's running next to me while I'm at work.

I've been really enjoying this game (and still am) but I ran into my first big annoyance. Trying to get materials to awaken Agrias and Exdeath, so I need lots of sacred and holy crystals. Just burned through all of NRG without a single drop. I get the random nature of the gacha pulls and that it comes with the territory of spending lapis and/or money, but getting nothing productive at all from your entire energy bar is pretty harsh. So now I guess I wait and try again.

And Chrono, well, I don't think there's enough 5* bases in the game yet for his compensation.

Son of a bitch. Wasted about 150 NRG (from a rank up) raising TM on the wrong party last night. Arrggghhhh.
Crap like this is why I'm so far behind the curve on TMs.
Side note, daily pulled a Sazh, got his TM 20 sided dice. Is there any use other than making Noctis/Lightning even more annoying in Arena?

Is Arena more competitive than normal this week? I've been using ~15-16 orbs a day and stuck in the 12k range. Most of my battles are between 1.3-1.5x ratios.
I did lose my 75+ streak on an unlucky Noctis Ice Flask, but I don't think that makes that big a difference (and I already had the 100 win streak trophy).
This is my first time being this highly ranked (usually I strive for sub 30k). Not planning to try and hit 3k or anything, but I'm wondering how you can get sub 3k without using lapis.

It is definitely more competitive this week and I don't think it is a coincidence the rewards are attack pots.
I am usually right around rank 2500 and this week it has been a struggle to stay near 3K. Usually a rank up or 2 is key to getting sub-3K but I also have trouble sleeping most nights and that enables me to limit wasted orbs.

Im starting a new batch of TM....0% is depressing. Takes too much effort and time.
That said , once i finish new batch ill have another dual wield , dual cast for refia.
Lightning will have black cowl , blademaster , excalibur, sakurafubiki and power of creation.
Then ill work on bracers.
Ill have deathbringer too and the dual wield can go on CoD but he doesnt have good aecond weapon. I have DKC but my barrage is only 50% and he sucks wothout it.
So im hoping Firion is soon and ill give him DW and Deathbringer.
Google "best place to farm..." and there's a wiki saying the best spots. No kidding, eveybody suffered a little bit in the beginning! XD
Google says the best places to farm scared and holy crystals are chamber of awakening INT and ADV respectively. I'm just saying burning through all NRG with 0 to show for it is a bummer, and is a little harsh considering rng already plays such a meaningful role here (that I'm okay with regarding character pulls.. That's the foundation of the game).
That's odd, I rarely come out empty handed doing the INT, but it is the best way to farm them. I actually have a decent stash right now though from the maze event, so I haven't ran it in awhile.

Seems to be. I am usually in the top 3k and I am in like the top 8k this week. Granted I haven't really tried as much as previously but I can see it is clearly more competitive this week. I assume people want ATK pots.
Eh it's probably just a case of bad luck / I'm a little grumpy about all the news stuff today anyway.
I'll keep grinding it. NRG hasn't bugged me until now. I just really like the game and want to keep playing it.

Yeah, I cheese with Greg dual wielding Golem Staff and Thorned Mace for that reason. It's just purely an anti-Cecil move.
Fuck Arena Cecils.
With enhancements he is top tier, better than the majority of 5* base. You will have to save millions of gold to pay for them though,

Sacred Crystals are literally the worst material to gather. It gets easier, but yeah.....good luck.
Pick them up from mog king whenever they show up during events.

They are the biggest block in awakening in my opinion. Once you have a solid team you can start to stockpile them from events and whatnot which is helpful. I haven't had to use any for a few weeks and I am up to 120 of them...of course I am about to probably use all of them when I get some more cactuars. I'm finna awaken the shit out of some units next week.
I don't even remember seeing King Mog sell them recently from any event. It's only 6 star mats now. I have seen an increase of them drop as rewards though from completing events.
Thanks guys. It's good to know at least that I'm spending the NRG where I should. I think I'm more aware of it because I'm trying to awaken two of my core members at the same time. Once they're rank 5, I'll be able to stockpile for awhile like you said.

It might not have been in the past couple events, but I definitely know he's sold them in the past. My current stash of them is entirely from King Mog events.
Well, the age-old trick of complaining about not drawing a 5* base is not working for me. I've taken a step back and given up completely on drawing them at this point. Glad I re-rolled for Light, or I would probably never have one. That's okay. I'm simply going to concentrate on TM's and build a good squad from the less popular 3* and 4* characters.

So got up and checked Altema to see what the JPs were thinking this morning about the update and Randy is now a 97 but one of the user comments there are pointing out that him being a 97 is super strange because he's absolutely beastly now. Apparently, you can get his attack up to 1500-1600 with Trust Master Rewards and can do a ton of damage to Aigaion, the hardest boss in JP right now, lol.
Now I hope you guys can get SoM in GL and folks can get him, also because his sprite work is amazing, easily one of the best in FFBE.

I came to the same conclusion on the Noctis banner. I'm done with rainbow chasing. In fact, I think I'm just going to pull for characters I want, regardless of their rating or star base. Because... really... there is a lot of fun to be had in this game that can get completely lost if you focus entirely on numbers and ratings alone. Unless, of course, THAT is what makes the game fun for you. In which case... power to you. But it's not where I have fun, mainly because it hasn't worked for me. RNG can go to hell and die.
So if I do chase anyone, it will be because I dig 'em, not simply because they are uber-amazing and OP.

We're in this weird lull where certain "common" characters like Firion are going to be absolutely beastly and will overshadow some 5* bases. I think you're exactly right. Because Agrias (aka Poorlandu) exists, the next character I truly want is Rikku.
I have like 50 tickets and I don't know what to pull on. TBH, the only reason Dark Fina interests me (I've done dailies) is because I like story characters. I don't care about the Type 0 banner. Not sure about the Orlandu banner. And Grande Burrito is still a mystery.
Idk. Should I pull? Or just wait to hopefully get Rikku?

Well, that sucks ass. Why even bother having it on Mac then? Wish they would also list that it no longer has macros. Instead it's talking about how to set them up. I guess that's great if you're on Windows, but everyone else forgets Macs. I'm not going to bother with another app. I'm the kind of person that likes to work on bare minimum of apps. I'm weird. I don't like a lot of clutter on my machine. But after over 6 years it has it anyway.
If I have to use an app within an app, it's far too much trouble really. Becomes a lot more complicated than it was supposed to be. Thank you though.
I guess now I'm at the point, where I didn't think I'd be, that I don't really have anything to do. I'm bored. My NRG is rotting away. I finished up my lapis runs the other day which is why I wanted to get into Nox. Very few left and they're pains in the asses to get so won't bother unless I ABSOLUTELY need lapis for the little pittence left.
