Yeah sure, release a game nobody bought on the other system on another system where users even have less chance of buying it.

Then tell them "Well you don't buy our games, so no we won't bring GTA or Red Dead to it."

Wow. This is probably the saddest game from Rockstar they could have asked for. I enjoyed LA Noire but I don't think anyone has been clamoring for a port/remaster, let alone for the Switch. Not Bully, not The Warriors, not even Manhunt. No the best option for the switch is LA Noire haha

Open world games from 2011 are not gonna make me want a Switch, especially when they will probably be full-priced.

I actually might be in the market for this, but even with the enticement of portable play, I see this having trouble competing with the regular $5 price point on Steam (and to a far greater extent than Skyrim).

I'm sure you would all rather have Red Dead Redemption, but I seem to recall that porting it to additional platforms is severely constrained by some PS3-specific optimizations buried deep in the code.

Anyway, if Nintendo wanted Rockstar aboard they really should have asked for Table Tennis.

Even Chinatown Wars would probably have been a better choice. I liked LA Noire, but it isn't the kind of game that benefits from replay, and not sure it is the best product/market fit for Switch. Again, I liked it, but would be at the bottom of the Rockstar list of games I'd be interested in seeing ported. Bully would have been more interesting.

Odd choice, but....sure? Even if it wouldn't be a great look with the sequel coming out, I think porting RDR1 makes more sense than this.

The last thing I would expect to come to Switch, let alone any platform for that matter, but I'd take it.

LA Noire is one of the best games from the last generation and it didn't get enough credit or attention.

This. Of all the games R* might remaster, this has got to be pretty near the bottom. Not least of all because they would most likely need to pay royalties to the many actors whose appearances are in the game. And on the Switch, to boot? I don't buy it.

If it doesnt flop, they will make LA Noire 2 for switch because "nintendo fans like these type of games"

I really, really liked it too. It was a bit different and just a crazy cool setting.

The DLC cases were fantastic, damn now I want to play it again.

If I was Nintendo I'd throw all the money at Rockstar to get GTAV + RDR2 on Switch. They don't need to be exclusive. Just having it on the console is a win due to the hybrid nature of the system.

why? I mean its so old and wasn't even that well received, I uninstalled it from steam after spending about 4 hours on it

If they are going to remaster a former Ps3 game for switch give us Red Dead Redemption

We live in a world where Capcom's big Switch game is an update of Street Fighter II. At this point I wouldn't even be shocked if this was true.
