This is such an odd-ass rumor, though. Like almost nothing about it makes any sense. There's no desire for the game. Nothing resembling any fond memories of it. It's not like it's a lost treasure. Everyone's had a chance to discover the thing by now. What post-release media there is has almost entirely focused on the joke aspects of it (specifically, that its a terrible detective simulator but a great dark comedy about the worst fucking cop in the world) and there is little to no possibility of anyone paying anything more than 10 bucks for it at best.
What happened to those rumors about Red Dead getting some sort of remaster or rework or re-SOMETHING alongside the sequel finally dropping? And yes, I know such rumors (there were rumors, right?) were just as shaky as this one is, due to the long and storied history of its code looking like the back of your granpa's entertainment center.
RDR 1 on Switch might move something. Hell, as was mentioned upthread, BULLY would probably move more than Noire would. The entertainment value for Noire at this point is almost solely in youtube videos and gifs. Not the act of actually playing the fuckin thing.
