Tnx to our mod jshackles (developer of Enhanced Steam) OpenCritic score will be included alongside of MetaCritic score on Steam Store pages.

OpenCritic.com review data is coming to Enhanced Steam in the next update

This will display alongside the Metacritic data if it exists, and if not it will create it's own section to be displayed in. In addition to this, I'm planning on doing the same with the "Reviews" section on the left-hand side.

Of course if you prefer not to see this info on the page, it can be disabled in the settings.

It doesn't use the same weighting system Metacritic does where certain publications have a bigger influence over the overall score. It also has lots of great metrics and score distribution visuals.

A big problem with Metacritic is certain publications that are used in one game may not appear in another. So Opencritic is pretty much the same as GameRankings?

OpenCritic is a good looking site that seems to be doing a great job listening to user feedback but it's not immediately clear to me that either a) the weighting has ever substantively affected a score or b) that doing it without weighting is a better default.

Additionally, there are separate scores and pages for each version of a game (PS4, X1, etc) depending on what platform it was reviewed on. Considering most games are nearly identical across versions this is unnecessary and can make for drastically different scores for the same game

OpenCritic dev here... Related to this, but we're trying to find a way to show when there is a drastic difference between the games (Ex: Arkham Knight). Haven't found much luck. You can still filter reviews by platform, but that doesn't do a great job at highlighting when there's a glaring issue.

Our Game Summary page needs a lot of work.

No, the bottom 40% of games scored are classified as "Weak." The Middle 20% is "Fair." The next 30% is "Strong." Top 10% "Mighty."

Those bands just happen to be 0-69, 70-74, 75-84, and 85+

Yeah, so 65 is "weak". I don't think it's really OpenCritic's fault though - it's just a reflection of the current state of the industry.
