I really need to stop watching these but I can't help myself. The fact that it's so close to release just makes the wait feel longer than it actually is.

Looks ridiculously fucking awesome.

Reminds me of what people were asking/hoping for right after the very first reveal. Hype at maximum.

The music, the graphics, the look and feel of the animation, the special effects and particles, the character design. It's all ON POINT. FUUUUUCk

IMO, it's totally soul crushing that they have a great looking Zelda, wearing the same tunic as Link, looks like Link actually, but female and she can hold the Master Sword in artwork...and yet is not playable at all. She looks great. And yet...nope. So backwards in my opinion.

All of these are great, and I love the music in this game...
But I hate the extremely rough transition around 1:05 where it goes from crescendo to complete silence then back like 7 bars

It's jarring, and has been since e3

Heard a rumour she was playable actually, but no sources I wish to share

At least she has a decent amount of screentime

MY GOD THE SOUNDSSSSSS! Now I understand why they went for such a minimalistic approach with the music (which is still excellent)

is the Wii U version really not supposed to have nature sounds like this?

Edit: Also, did graphics suddenly improve or is it my hype glasses?

Yeah, Sound Design in this game is definitely god tier.

I want to watch everything so bad but I keep telling myself that it's less than a month away and to just wait! I love being surprised when I play new games but this is incredibly hard to resist...

Permabanned.
If she isn't playable then what will her Amiibo do? I assumed they let you bring that character into the game to play as or do they do other stuff?

I'd recommend you to play the guard one with headphones and only listen to it, don't watch it. There are no dialogues at all, only environmental sounds, so it's not spoilery.

Heh, you don't even know this yet. Who knows, with all their talk about breaking Zelda's conventions, that at one point in the game she might be playable.

I am just saying, who knows.

Amiibos do other stuff primarily, like item drops and such.

If she was playable, wouldn't they have wanted to keep it secret so that people freak over it when it happens?

I don't think she will be though.

I wouldn't say it's out of the question that she may be playable in some sections of the game maybe, since we've had control of other characters in past games. This is definitely an evolution of skyward sword Zelda where she is more fleshed out and prominent In the story, so far from what we've seen. I won't judge till Its out.

They were asked multiple times about this, and they've been adamant about it. Zelda is a one dimensional damsel in distress. She can't be allowed strength and independence actually, otherwise it undermines the very canonical male Link apparently. I'm still wondering what happened with the female Link rumors we had going last year.

Feel like I'm going to have to enter a blackout soon.

And I usually like spoiling things but I want to make this special.

Oh you've played the while game and know that you don't control Zelda at all at any point during it then? Cool.

Just saying you won't know that until it's out, even if it's likely.
