BREAKING: New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis charged with four felonies and one misdemeanor after alleged fight last weekend.

This is why I've walked away from every bar fight or fight in general in my life. I don't give a shit about getting my ass beat, I give a shit about going to fucking jail once lawyers and the police get involved.

In 2 weeks around this time of morning I'll be at my local Target strolling in for a pro controller, I will onlook the carnage of hopeful gamers grabbing at the chance to be a JCB. After work I will go to the store where I preordered and say hello my name is ______, and I'm here for my JCB card.

HoF voter Ira Cox was on with Florio today. He said several former teammates and coaches of TO spoke against him, but when it came time for someone to speak in favor of him the room was silent. I bet Jeff Garcia was the player speaking out the most against TO.

Just when you thought it was not possible to hate Tom Brady more he is telling his teammates to our politics aside and visit the White House because it is a privilege to do so.

Jesus Christ he is the worst kind of scum.
This sounded wrong to me, so I googled it and it's completely wrong.

Well, everybody has their own choice and there's certain years, like a couple years ago, I wanted to go and then didn't get the opportunity based on the scheduling. We didn't get told until I think like 10 days before we were going. At that point, I had something that I had been planning for months and couldn't get there [to the White House], it's an offseason and these days are valuable for everybody. You only get so much time with your family and friends and if people don't want to go, they don't want to go and that's their choice. Just putting politics aside, it never really was a political thing, at least it never was for me. It was just always something that was a privilege to be able to do because it really meant you won a championship and you got to experience something cool with your team, with your teammates, so everyone has their own choice.

Get your fake news out of here

I watched the entire Eagles/Patriots Super Bowl the other day and the only Eagle really getting shit done on Offense was TO. Playing beyond banged up. He's why the game is so close at the end.

McNabb, a dude I always loved, threw three garbage picks and had no hustle at the end of the game when they had time for a comeback.

So basically the Hall of Fame is a popularity contest? Do these voters not have eyes or the ability to form their own opinions based on watching him play?

It isnt a popularity contest it is a Hall dedicated to the best the sport has to offer. TO was a great player but he also was a terrible person. When the 9ers refused to give him more money he accused their QB of being gay to force a trade. When the Eagles refused to give him a new contract after 1 year he tried to turn the team against their QB. TO is a selfish jerk who only ever cared about himself.

Second all-time in receiving yardage.
Third all-time in receiving touchdowns.
Sixth all-time in receptions.

No one gives a shit about your hurt feelings, the Eagles were never going to win a Super Bowl anyway.

If no one cares why hasn't he been voted in already?

It's fun watching them complain though. TO not making it this year was their first victory in a long time.

Purely because of perception though. He's not one of "the good ones".

He is definitely not a good person if that is what you mean. Imagine the outcry if a white player had tried to undermine a black QB, if he had questioned his leadership, if he had insinuated that the QB throw up in the SB because the moment was to big for him and not because he was sick going into the game. Hell imagine any player coming out today and insinuating that the starting QB for his own team was gay, and portraying that in a negative way? TO is a despicable human being. The fact that the HoF couldnt find one fucking person who would come argue for him should show you what the people who knew him think of him.

There are terrible human beings in the Hall of Fame already though. TO is just an easy target to make an example of. His production and ability speak for themselves.

I see this argument so often and it never makes sense to me. Say you get hired to decide who gets into the HoF. You have to vote on the people eligible now, you cant go back and re-vote on those older players. The fact that other assholes got in shouldnt force you to vote for current assholes.

In the article, he was asked whether he thought Garcia was gay. "Like my boy tells me: If it looks like a rat and smells like a rat, by golly, it is a rat."

He then followed up with general comments on having a gay teammate. "I probably wouldn't say anything right off the bat. I'd just see what everyone else has to say. I'd probably keep my distance and, hopefully, he would keep his. If it was a guy who was helping us win ball games, hey, I'd have no problem with it. He can do what he wants to do outside of my everyday life."

In no way should stuff like this be okay.
