If I remember correctly, he said that in reference to how attractive she would be when she was twenty, not how she looked at the time. It's still creepy and gross, but that difference is why it didn't stick.

He's paying the price for something he said a while ago. You could argue that his platform shined a spotlight on his past comments and is ultimately the cause of his downfall, but I would argue that he shouldn't have been allowed a platform in the first place.

We can't expect everyone like Milo (people who rile up hate groups and promote bigotry) to just self-destruct. They shouldn't even be handed the megaphone.

Up until now, he was profiting from spreading his toxic viewpoints. Let's not forget that when the next "Milo" pops up who doesn't have anything to say about pedophilia.

Let's not forget the fact that it took something so unequivocally evil as defending statutory rape and child rape for him to finally hang himself. But the racism, misogyny, transphobia, and Islamophobia? Oh, well that continues to slide on by, even in spaces that consider themselves progressive and empathetic to minorities.

This is not the case study for what happens when any racist, a sexist, a transphobe, or an Islamophobe gets a public platform to speak, because if that were the case the Republican establishment and some liberals would've been imploded by now. It's a case study for what happens when you're found to defend child abuse.
