So soon to release too. I'm furious. I ordered the same night as the original Switch reveal, right when they went up. They gave a $10 credit for the inconvenience.

Amazon just cancelled my Breath of the Wild Master Edition preorder. I preordered within a few minutes of it going live on Amazon, around the time the first batch of Nintendo Switches went live.

I really wanted the carrying case. Would have been nice to get a heads up y'know, earlier than two weeks before launch.

Wouldn't be as bad if the normal version wasn't already sold out. On the bright side, the sword is a miserable pile of trash for the extra $30.

Well that fucking sucks.

Happened to me with the Uncharted 3 limited treasure edition, it did get me a free copy of Uncharted 2 and 3 and i just ordered the US version instead. 10$ seems cheap Amazon can do better.

Edit: And since the regular version is sold out, how exactly can I utilize my Amazon Prime discount by launch? I'm scared now. Not really. But I'm anxious.

Contact their customer service and demand more. That's pretty bullshit since you could have gotten it somewhere else.

I bet you can at least get a free month of Prime.

This happened with fire emblem limited edition on Amazon.

Then they made it available for 5 minutes before it was sold out.

So keep hitting refresh page.


LOL at all those Amazon preorders that were sold on eBay.

That's awful. Mine is with GameStop. I usually hate them (after all I paid full price plus shipping) but hopefully I at least get to keep my order.

You blame Amazon but what if

Nintendo: You can have 25,000 copies.
Amazon: Takes 25,000 preorders.
Nintendo: JK, you can have 5k.

Isn't that more likely?

I really do not understand why Nintendo can't make enough of their limited releases to satisfy more than five minutes of demand. There's clearly a larger market that wants these things, and is willing to pay for them, but NoA is just content with the small allotment of units they sell, and let their fans get screwed by scalpers.

There's no time to this, there are people who pre-ordered it before other people in the Master thread and still got theirs cancelled. It's a matter of luck right now and if you are chosen by the Hylean gods or not.

I'm in disbelief right now.

Mine is cancelled and I ordered with 1 click right when it opened. I'm beyond pissed.

I had the chance to get it from other sources afterwards but I only want 1 and didn't want to hold the chance for others to get it. That means I need to secure every possible preorder from now on but I no longer want to take my business to Amazon. $10 GC is not nearly enough compensation for a game that means the most to me than any other game ever.

Sorry to those of you this is happening to. Truly awful.

At least the scalpers this happens to will be squealing in pain.

I'm on the verge of sending a super gross fanboy chat message to amazon but I'm afraid it's going to just get someone's attention to cancel mine, too.

If mine is cancelled, Amazon and Nintendo are both going to be hearing from me. Not that it'll do any good.
