Great thread title !

I just wanted to post that, I still haven't played the game and don't want to be spoiled. Good game guys.

The lack of an apostrophe in "Its" is already driving me insane (Edit - Thank you mod!). But hot damn do I love that thread title.

Wandered into a labyrinth, that was confusing but I got 2 golden weapons, 300 rupees and some armor in the shrine after going around in circles heh

yey! I love this game so much. You can really explore each and everyplace and find something new and exciting. I now have 3 horses registered, and even after 35+ hours I think I'm maybe 30% in. Hopefully less.

The most incredible and beautiful thing happened to me last night. Spoilering everything, because it it contains some late game stuff
I was trying to get a dragon scale to complete a side quest so I went over to the area I know he patrols to wait for him.
While waiting I start searching for Koroks to kill time when I accidentally run into a White-maned Lynel. For those of you who don't know white maned Lynels are basically the Arnold Schwarzenegger of Lynels. They will wreck. your. sh**.

I start fighting for my life desperately and 15 minutes of sweaty palms later I have him down to ~1/5 HP when the wind starts picking up. I look around and the dragon is almost on top of me. I beeline it towards a cliff to try and get above the dragon, but I'm too slow I know I'm not going to make it. I watch helplessly as his head slowly passes me and my desperation mounts as I know I'm going to need to wait who knows how long for him to pass by again. So in sadness I resign myself to the task at hand and turn to face the Lynel who has followed in my desperate dash to the cliff.

That's when something incredible happened. As I turned around the Lynel pulled back his bow to rain a mighty volley of arrows on my head except the arrows never came. The Lynel got smacked by the dragons tail instantly killing him, as I stand in amazement of what I just saw I turn to stare at the dragon who aided me and notice there is a giant glowing spot on the ground. It turns out the Lynels arrow volley had pierced the dragon's weak point for me and dropped the item I needed.
Bro Lynel, Bro dragon. Never forget.

I friggin love this game.

Edit: Also love the thread title :)

How the hell do you get into the shrine in
Lake Kilsie, that you can only see through a tiny little crevice in the mountainside?

Great title! I really need to actually progress in the story a little in this game. I've done no such thing yet lol. Well a little.

Best thread title. Anyway, I'm gonna ask this again here because I never got answers:

I haven't searched this thread because I still haven't beaten the game, but I have two questions:

1) I still haven't found everything on the list of ability controls. After probably close to 100 hours. I have : Scope, Shield Surf, Charged Attacks, ???, Backflip, Side Hop, Perfect Guard and ???. I actually searched on google for this but I can't seem to find a proper list of these.

2) The god damn
mystical blue stag? horse? on Satori Mountain.
I saw the light one night and went to investigate, but stupid me I decided to
shoot him with arrows because I figured he'd drop a lot of rupees, just like the little rabbits. But then he ran off, reappeared for a second, I tried to sneak up on him to mount him but he vanished as the sun started to rise.
Then I spent about 6-7 nights camping out waiting for that light to reappear but it never has yet. Anyone know when this happens? I'm pretty sure I went through a whole lunar cycle looking for it.

That's a really, really tough one to figure out. You have to
go to the big rock in the middle of the lake, bomb it to reveal an updraft, and then look around while floating

Pretty much ready to beat the game tonight. Finished up the Gerudo Divine Beast last night, warped to Hyrule field, equipped the Master Sword/Hylian Shield combo and shut the game off while facing Hyrule Castle on Epona. About how long is the final sequence?

Finished with the game for now at 90-something shrines. 70 hours played. (Beat it after 33.)

Just wanted to get in on the first page of the second thread for the inevitable game of the year and possibly game of the generation.

We'll be talking about this one for a decade or more, I think...

Wow, OT2 already?

Love the thread title. Definitely getting the same feelings as I did back when Ocarina came out with BotW.

You can make it through Hyrule Castle in about 3 minutes if you rush, or you can take 40 minutes or more exploring it.

I used
the Zora suit
to
swim up waterfalls
and I wasn't seen by any enemies at all, just stealthed right in the front door. Took no time at all.

It'll certainly be the new OoT in terms of impact

I love OoT to death - one of the most important games of my life, maybe THE most important. But it's a healthy thing for the series that we can move on from the shadow of that game now.

From the side of the mountain. To help you there's a tiny island where you can bomb the rocks to reveal an updraft that'll take you there
