There seems to be a fundamental problem with the way they did faces and facial animation rigs in the videos I've watched, but the quality varies. They'd have to go through every single frame. You might be better off asking for a new game, unless Bioware Montreal has some easily implementable secret magic animation technology that I've never heard about. It would probably be a band-aid to the animations if they made better eyes at the very least.

I would like to think that these are small parts of the game, taken in isolation, but in the grand scheme of the game as a whole, they are probably less noticeable.

I think what makes it worse is that the environments in this game look absolutely stellar. So its hard to contrast that with these barbie/ken doll models.

A Youtuber named xletalis did a comparison of dialogue animations yesterday contrasting ME1 to Andromeda.

When I keep saying that I think the Trilogy looked better in this regard, so many fans keep telling me it was just nostalgia and to replay the games.

I point out that I AM replaying ME1 right now and my wife just wrapped up ME3 last month, so it's fresh in our minds, and so many keep telling me that I'm just having selection bias.

... No, no, I think the game from 10 years ago looks better with dialogue animation, by far.
Even the actual aliens and androids acted more human.
