So not worth it
Seems like a big risk to take for footage that has already been released through numerous documentaries by now, so far this was just the same guided NK vacation footage other people have been allowed to record and release for several years now.

Someone in the stream mentioned it was during new years, so when does NK celebrate NY? Though I only saw when they were on the roof looking at the buildings and everything looked grey and brown. How would North Korea even look like they were celebrating New Years? Someone must have mentioned it in the video.

The elevator mirror seem like he had the camera in his hat. It looked well disguised.

Aren't you allowed to film there? I know a channel with regular uploads.

You are allowed to film there, but not livestream. How he managed to livestream in an elevator going down several stories is what makes me doubt this. In the chat peoplesaid they were talking about New Years, as if it were a recent or upcoming thing, so there's that as well, but I don't have sound to verify.

He said that he saw New Years fireworks yesterday.

Google says NH's New Year is Feb 16, so yeah, this is probably bullshit.

Do those people think they can get rich by that?

I remember that guy who wanted to be imprisoned for 1 year, then after that write a book about it. Got imprisoned for 6 years though and had the US get him out....

Yeah, I mean, it's obviously fake. They don't even have internet there (high government representatives aside).
Foreign visitors are allowed to have internet access though I don't imagine it'd be fast enough to livestream video.

I think they're also starting to allow ordinary citizens to have smartphones and internet, though heavily restricted, but I'm not certain.

Haha, never heard about that.

From what I recall, North Korea actually has their own internal janky ass internet.
