Why does he not start? Rebounds?

He's not smart on defense. Awareness is bad and small players get good shots against him inside a lot because he mistimes his jumps. Best you can do is make him guard a spot on the floor and hope for the best.

Is Zaza really that much better on defense?

I would rather JaVale play more as well, but it's the likely reason he's not. In the regular season Kerr is going to play everyone, no reason not to. In the playoffs, hopefully Javale gets more minutes, especially if the match up is right.

Zaza on defense is a problem because he's slow and it looks like he has a relatively short reach. Bad combination lol.

Yes. Also a better rebounder.

But some matchups are bad for Zaza and this is one them the way Westbrook explodes out of the pick & roll.

That's laughable ... Zaza is flat footed and has no explosiveness at all. Gets eat up plenty inside .

At this point in both careers McGee seems to have a nice little resurgence while Zaza is regressing.

Zaza SHOULD be better defensively and a better rebound but if you actually watch plenty of Warriors game you can easily see how often he is a waste of space and just overall detrimental.

The rebounding I can see if he's just better statistically. But a better defender? Is he really? Genuinely asking. I've never recognized him in that way.

Laughable maybe, but still true. Zaza has a better rebounding percentage than Javale despite playing way more minutes.

Javale is obviously way more athletic, but that's not always enough. He can get wildly out of position or mistime his jumps.

Zaza is better defending in the post. He doesn't let guys back him down easily, and he knows where other guys are on the floor most of the time.

Javale is more prone to jumping at everything and it gets him in a lot better of trouble. He's been better about that the last few games though. Javale also has asthma so that is part of why he doesn get as many mins as well. I'd love to see him play more in the playoffs. The spacing he gives us with his play above the rim is so valuable.

He's cut jumping at everything for awhile now.

He is. Javale jumps at everything some games causing him to rack up fouls. Also not always smart switching (which GS does constantly). Though he's improved both of those lately.

But like I said, Zaza also isn't great in certain matchups. The right player can make him look really slow. Usually opposing guards in the pick & roll.

Interesting I'll have to watch him more on defense. The times I've seen him I've been really unimpressed with his defense, he does seen slow and flat footed to me as well.

Baron Davis wearing those whack ass Yeezys . Dude, you are a grown ass man wearing shoes that little Chinese boys in SF that haven't hit puberty yet wear.

Is Lebron really over 40+-1 odds to win MVP?

That sounds about right. This has easily been his best season since Miami, but the Cavs obviously coast during the regular season and the guys ahead of him are putting up 2k numbers while their teams are overachieving (particularly Houston) relative to expectations.

LBJ's comments are just a long way of saying he's gonna do what he has to do to win it all... #restgate

Big 3's playing Wed. night vs Denver right? If Lue's roster manipulation works out and with Griffin's management: GM and coach of the year.

Pacers are only a game out of fifth. They'd actually have a chance against a banged-up Raptors.

I'd just rather have them stay at 6th. Wizards and Raptors are also a game away from each other anyway. Seeds 2 to 7 can really beat each other out. Anything that's not an early matchup against the Cavs is the best scenario.

Pacers not staying at 6 unless they lose games with the Hawks.

Hawks fucking suck lol
