Possible Sony trademark for something called "V".

ROCKET PEACE

real shame about that clipping.

anyway my vote is for a PlayStation Vue slight rebranding. Probably gonna try and move away from the "PlayStation" tag on it and make Vue it's own service, with stronger branding so it can stand better on its own. which would be smart imo

For those of you who have finished Bloodborne- Is the ending flexible enough to accommodate a sequel?

Thanks.

Short answer: in my opinion, yes, it has potential for a sequel.

Long answer: (really not that spoiler-ish, I just explained the nature of the story and the endings in general, nothing specific, but I'll spoiler tag it anyway.)

Finished the main game, currently going through the DLC. In my opinion there is indeed potential for more, specially since the player seems to be only a small part of the story, merely discovering secrets than being a great influence on in. All of the endings also seemed to be about the player itself, not changing the world or the grand scheme of things in the story.

Basically, that's the Lovecraftian nature of Bloodborne. The player is not as influential as the chosen undead was in the DS series. The player is nothing. He/She is insignificant. Some really huge stuff is happening in the story (or has already happened) and the player is just discovering and observing some stuff.

So yeah, I can totally see the story getting expanded for a sequel.

" Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. [carves "V" into poster on wall] The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."

You...

I like you.

Is it that weird TV show where aliens would eat the heads off of small animals?

God, I was a little kid but that show is etched into my brain forever.

I was just listening to the 8-4 Play podcast from the 17th of March.

One of the panel members at 1 hour 11 minutes in the podcast mentions that they are working on 'Project V'.

The mention got my attention as I had seen this thread earlier in the day.

Sorry if this was mentioned, or is completely unrelated!

Have you played the Dark Souls games, or do you know the general outlines? They're not directly-linked sequels to each other, but iterative stories that borrow and interlink. Not to say there isn't a definite chronology, but it's not as important, The theme is about huge cycles of history, where a new setting and cast of characters are burdened with similar challenges, and evolve in new ways.

Bloodborne is open to a follow-up in this same way. I don't think From would be interested in a sequel in the most mundane sense.
