I thought they had said more customization options were coming. If they are, they'll probably add a "plastic surgery station" to your personal quarters or something.
Anyway, finally bought the game proper thanks to GMG, and after like 4 failed attempts at coming up with a FemRyder that didn't have stupid eyes, a permanent frown, or ridiculously bad mouth animations, I found something I like...

I would assume so but I'm kind of at the point where my character is ruining the game for me(it's all in my mind but still). I'm not very far though. I only recently left EOS.

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
So I went back and made a few tweaks regarding small facial quirks that were bothering me in cutscenes (mostly cheek/cheekbone stuff that you cannot see while in the CC) and this is my final FemRyder. Very happy with it. Looks good almost all the time, unless the game decides to go full derp. Her mouth is curved down in some scenes, but it's better than Sara's default ever-smile.
Whole family turned out pretty good imo.

But to be honest there's not a lot you can do in the CC. Hope to see it expanded soon.
Also I'm pretty sure the make-up is bugged in the game, particularly the eyeliner and eyeshadow. Maybe lipstick too.

Really unfortunate that you can immediately tell which preset an individual face used if you get familiar with all the presets.

Yeah, that site is anything but helpful for people to choose which Ryder is perfect for them.
Browsing through forums or reddits is much better as there are pics who can actually differentiate them.

I used one of the creations in here and it does look great! Still pulls goofy faces occasionally but I really like it.

Yeah, you can download other people's Ryders from the Mass Effect Archives (but only if their creators have made them public).
Is that an ingame feature?

Yup. I haven't tried it out yet but I think you need to specify which Ryder you want to import on the website beforehand and then, in the game's character creator, there's a button that lets you import that character.

Think I'm going to try and redo my character while still in the early game. This did not turn out how I wanted it. I don't think it's horrible but it's certainly not a looker. Not sure if it's just the animation issue or just the original models. Clear more work went into the female models so it's easier to get something decent. My characters sister looks exponentially better. How is this? Redo or keep?

I've been working on trying to get a good looking black bro Ryder. I'm not quite finished with it yet. Preset 7 doesn't have a great jawline so maybe I'll try something with preset 8. But if you want to use this one I can post an Archive link.

The Mass Effect Archives want me to log in with my EA account but I have no idea what the password is anymore. For some goddamn stupid reason EA isn't sending an email to me, even though I've requested a password reset a million times now. No email in my inbox or spam box. Nothing. What can I do?

It seems there are a limited number of Alec Ryder faces that never change regardless of the changes to your Sara or Scott Ryder. Is this why the CC is so limited? If it were more expansive and detailed you'd end up with offspring that look absolutely nothing like Dad Ryder. Which still kinda' happens I guess. Makes me wonder if they'll actually change it.

I had to restart after 12 hours or so. The female character's posture is weird, and I made some odd choices with the creator...
I think this time I did ok. Chose Male simply because he doesn't look like he's been hunched over a vid screen his entire life...
I like how he turned out, there's a little Native American in him.
