The notification system and the PM system are two separate things so I don't think that would be the case.

I wonder how this works.... seems it's not first-come, first-served with the sign-ups.

- Did anyone without a current PS+ subscription get an invite?
- Anyone who never signed up for GT Academy ever?
- Who never played GT6 / GT5 (has trophies in either)?
- Never streamed gameplay?

[ I bet it's just completely random >:-| ]

Very Clean looking game, image quality is impeccable. I'm playing on the Pro, don't know resolution it is in because my TV auto upscales. My only little critique as far as graphics go is, in replay, I didn't check realtime is the further away the car is in the mirror it looses its image quality big time and soon as it starts to get within striking range all the detail is back to top notch, this was in replay.

I play with the Thrustmaster 150 and for those who do not have the degree setting for thrustmaster here is a reference sheet.

Better late than never, I got my invite 3 weeks after signing up on the 9th. I have the PS4 Pro paired with a 4K 65" TV so this is going to be quite an experience.

Yes. I'm an Aussie, tho have two non-plus USA accounts that just received codes. Tried to gift a code, tho it is tied to the account that got the notification.

Edit - not sure if I booted GT5 or 6 with my murican accounts - but definitely no GT Academy on those ones.

Edit 2 - signed up very early.

Just got in. Yes! Hope everyone still waiting for one gets theirs soon. Will post impressions later. Been playing a lot of Assetto Corsa on the PS4 and Forza 6 on XB1 over the past week so it will be interesting. I'm on a Pro hooked up to a good 1080p Samsung plasma.

Backbreaker65 could you answer this one:
On your wheel, do all cars have the same maximum degree of rotation(edit:I mean "soft lock" if that helps) and steering ratio curve in GTS (same x degree on the wheel gets exactly y degree of front wheel turn in in every car)?[I know the last one is hard to judge if there are no older cars in the game so far]

Just checked for you. One account had GT6 trophies, the other had neither.

omgomgomgomgomg, my first beta for anything ever! I choose to believe that I'm being rewarded for my platinum in GT6, which remains my rarest trophy to date at 0.8%. Don't care if this has been debunked, I choose to believe it anyway.

I got my invite at 4PM here in the U.S. East coast. I guess.. the flood gates are opening?

That HDR... man. Lol. I didn't have a chance to race against anyone yet. I have to spend some time acquiring cars. I didn't experience any bugs to report that I noticed yet, which is good news. Frame Rate seemed good on the tracks using PS4 Pro with HDR on. I did notice one stutter in a replay on the Tokyo Track, but it was a split second and I didn't see it again.

I was home and playing all day. Suddenly a message alert popped up inviting me at 16:00 Eastern time.

You click the notification screen and it takes you to a screen with a pre-populated code. You confirm, download, and play during the current time.

The notice told me weeknights between 17:00 and 20:00 eastern.

The 15 minute wait times for the Sport Mode races to start are brutal. Hopefully they can get that time cut down in the future.

I've been playing for an hour and only completed 2 online races so far, also has 2 disconnects right before races started.

I just got an email saying "Thanks for joining us in the closed Beta" with a bunch of info but I never received a code via email or as a notification. How do you access the beta?

Just got in.

Been playing dirt rally VR every day with my T500RS, going to be weird playing a non VR driving game.

I've got a H shifter and I hope it works better than on GT6 wheee the clutch didn't seem to work right. Anyone else tried a H shifter (T8RS)

lets go tomorrow.. damn would suck if they got me in and next day it was over lol

With how their system doesn't send emails and stuff maybe it is impossible for some users to get in anyways

This is strange, I got an email with an update on the beta, and I can access the closed forum... but I haven't gotten a code!? Anyone else get this?

I'm in Canada.
