Interesting to show it off in early april, i guess they want to get the hardware stuff out of the way so they can focus on games at E3.

I like this strategy, spread the news out a little more so we got something to talk about during non-E3 time.

I also wonder if this is going to be a full blown reveal. Next week is going to be interesting. Maybe we'll finally get to see how much truth to that DF leak was true.

Excited to finally see if I'm correct about the new Xbox Platform. (Not just Scorpio)

This is very much going to be like Office when they turned that into a platform vs a product.

Going for former but with game videos.

I think if Digital Foundry has it then we will get 360 BC, Xbox One BC and Scorpio improvement articles plus the big breakdown of the specs and stuff.

Neat! Really eager to see what they have in store. I won't be hopping in (right away) since I'm super happy with my PC, PS4 Pro and Switch, but I'm excited to see what's next for Xbox!

It is my understanding that Eurogamer's article is going to focus on Scorpio specs and the console's overall approach, not games.

That said, with basic specs more or less already known, I am really curious which additional information they gathered (especially with regard to the CPU). What I don't expect is any word on price and new games.

I'm tempering my expectations to be a reveal of looks and finalized specs/features. That info doesn't really play at E3 any more, so why not get it out of the way early? We MIGHT see a game, but I would assume just a tease of something that will be shown in full at E3.

Still, excited!

My thought is maybe it's a game reveal, and it will be showing off the Scorpio enhanced version. It would technically be "showing off" the Scorpio that way!

i said it in the other thread but i wouldn't be surprised if Eurogamer/Digital Foundry have had access to a dev kit but the following tweet mentioning "exclusive" information is a bit weird

I can't wait to see this console, after the One S and surface etc MS have been designing some damn sexy hardware.

I hope that they are going to focus on more exclusive games for it and the Xbox one they need to show more support as it's the only thing that has put me off the brand recently.

More on topic, I really hope we do get some more info. I'm not expecting a full on reveal of the box and such, but just ANY info would be nice.

Are we thinking it will keep the same interface as current Xbox One? Will it keep the HDMI In port? I didn't use the Kinect commands much but having that port was nice for switching between TV and games, and the UI they used for their guide was 99999999x better than the asstastic Comcast UI on their cable box.

I'm pretty eager to see what they actually reveal. I'm hoping for a full reveal of the hardware so that E3 can be entirely about games.

Edit: original Xbox BC would be a huge plus
