The fact that Ein is even fucking on this list bothers me so much. McGillis and Gallieo are definite hunks of this franchise though.

Well, that kind of ignores Atra's mindset for starters, she of the pushing of OT3 for a good season and half.
lol Galigali dropped from the list completely (or just top 20) but Ein got in somehow. Must has been because of his last scene with Julietta. (and some of the stuff with his VA)

I posted this a few pages back but maybe it just got lost.
Even if they had all died, this message already rang through loud and clear. Killing everyone wasn't really necessary though and I'm particularly surprised killing Kudelia was on the table? Because I don't see any rationale for that and that looks pretty clearly like a mistake.
And this is why I was annoyed at the final episode, for resorting to mere implication and like clockwork we get the plausible deniability crowd.
They should rename the series as "Dainsleif" because Gundam worth fuck all in this.

Well it would be as a proper Tomino ending but not the most. He kills the entire cast or resets the universe on more than one occasion.

To me the most depressing Tomino ending is still Zeta Gundam's with how Kamille ends up. But I guess it gets rectified in ZZ Gundam with Kamille getting better towards the end of that show.

The internment camps were done to American citizens, dude.
A lot of the mains survive Victory.
Victory kills a lot of characters, but many of them are nobodies who were interested a couple episodes before their death, if not the same episode. I think that show's ruthlessness is a little overhyped.

My point is that in a lot of cases they were 2nd and 3rd generation citizens. They had nothing to do with Japan, other than their ancestors were born there. To point out internment as an example of treating the enemy as shit is factually incorrect.

Haha that's how I like my Gundam Series. Fuck all that God Gundam Wing Zero/Epyon bullshit where no other mobile suit poses a threat or it takes hundreds versus one Gundam.
Just finished, i didn't liked the ending It looked that they didn't know what to do and hated the cast, It has some inconsistences in the story, the message sux its realist but sux "popular revolution Will be obliterated, change will come from above"
I got that their sacrifice helped to bring the change, but It doesnt sux less.
I Like Sad stories, but this one sux. Orga and mcguilis act like Two dumb kids in season 2, If you know that those Spears exists why the Hell you dont have them, why hes not prepared, why this dumb coup when you are not prepared, mcguilis plan is horrible It has no backup plan its narrow minded, why he didn't made more aliances before.

I watched 3 episodes of the first season of IBO when it started airing and for some reason didn't continue until I came back to it a week ago.
I've now finished the series and I'm not so sure what to think of it. I like it, it's certainly one of the more refreshing takes on Gundam anime, and I really liked the cast overall, but I can't shake my disappointment.
I think the ending was fitting in terms of the demise of Tekkadan, how and where most of the characters ended up, and how the political landscape settled.
I'll have to reflect more on the series but presently I feel too much was left uncovered, too many loose ends remained untied, and too many questions left unanswered. It's a bit frustrating honestly, but I think ultimately it just comes down to what I perceive as lots of conflicting ideas within the show spreading time and resources to thin to tell a satisfying story that covered all the bases.

Local otaku friend was telling me there is a good chance of a third story in the works. The manga and various other things already have shown and talked about several other Gundam's and pilots out there.
Supposedly will be about the area around the moon. Not sure what form that will take, seems like an animated series or OVA.
