That art is beautiful

So this isn't From? Was hoping it would be

I don't think so! It gives me more like a Let it Die + Momodora RUTM vibe than an actual soul esque game

I love her too.

God damn it, beaten.

Teasing something with a reference to Souls but then not actually announcing a Souls is a great idea if you want to make some people mad

I don't actually think #PrepareTo whatever is just a Souls thing now, they might did like a throwback to it and made a pun but I'm almost certain this won't be souls or from related

It's a 1 letter difference to Prepare to Die and it's from Bandai Namco

They definitely wanted for people to get the Souls association

I'm not certain that this is NOT related to Miyazaki. He did say that one of his next games would look nothing like we'd expect...Can this be it?

After Kadokawa bought From and it was clear that they (probably) wouldn't work with Bamco anymore i always thought that they would come up with a Souls like game themselves. I mean the Souls games were such massive hits for them, no way they would just let them go without at least trying do something that fills that spot. Maybe this could be that something.

...How would they reach western markets though? Kadokawa itself has no western presence, nor does FROM. It's likely they would still reach out to Namco for localization.

Very strange that the publisher of the Souls game would okay a marketing hashtag so similar to one of its most popular franchises.

That was a cool trailer but if this is for a game that isn't made by FromSoft I feel like people will revolt for Namco using that tagline even if it ends up being a nice looking game. It feels like Namco maybe doesn't make the best decisions when it comes to marketing.

If it's not at minimum a Soulslike, they can say goodbye to all the goodwill the DarkS series built for Namco and brace themselves for the Souls fandom to join the "Scamco" chorus.

Few bullet points:

1. Every element in that teaser can be matched to a key element of Bloodborne.

2. This teaser was released exactly two weeks after The Ringed City came out
2a. The "Suggested Video" card for this video is the launch trailer for The Ringed City.

3. From and Kadokawa have minimal western presence of their own, ergo it would still make sense to partner with Namco for localization

4. That tagline. IIRC the "Prepare to Die" slogan is FROM's trademark, and if FROM's not involved here it could be legally questionable for Namco to be invoking it like that for their own purposes. #FAKENEWS!

I'm certain this is a Soulslike inspired by Bloodborne.

The real question here is - Is it a FROM game? And if so, is it directed by Miyazaki?

Nothing in this video concludes that it's for any platform so I don't know where you came up with it.

The more likely scenario is that it's PS4/X1/PC and no Switch.

Either way, looks like a 2D Dark Souls.

It's either Bamco trying to make their own souls game because of no more Dark Souls or they are are cashing in on the "Prepare to die" slogan but on an unrelated thing because Souls sells and they know Souls fans are hungry.

This won't be From, they _always_ put their logo in there.

They would be wrong in that case, many souls fans are full, and dont want anymore. Overdone and needs to stop, which is why From ended the series.

Isn't possible it's a game made by small developer or indie similiar to Little Nightmares? I don't think this is a game made by Bamco 's own developers.

Also why is everyone saying vampire's

just a joke post, just thought it was funny timing

Save for the gasmask, everything could be a node to Bloodborne. Mybe it's a kind of modern take on the series?

Kinda like these fanarts, I would love it if From worked on a Tokyo Souls!
