Griffith choice though...become a god by sacrificing your friends...or die with your dreams. People followed him because of his dream and he was given the ultimate choice.

Cesar Clown doesn't need any prompting to create weapons that kill the most amount of people. Still great character in the context of the story...and there has been a lot of comedic payback

So Big Mom can be broken by having a picture broken, Pudding can be broken by a compliment to her eye, and now Big Mom's powers can be worked around by not having fear of death.

Glad everyone else is having fun, but Oda just seems to want to take everything cool about the Big Mom crew and make it lame.

At this rate, Amande is going to be revealed to not know how to use a sword, Big Mom's crew will be disbanded by having Sanji offering to cook Big Mom a meal, Smoothie will get a second form to just be pure fanservice, Pudding will legitimately fall in love with Sanji, and the Vinsmokes are going to walk away somehow having ripped Big Mom off instead of the other way around.

ceasar is going to have his redeeming moment isn't he? maybe that will extend into the kaido arc. we know the kill shots arent going to work 100% but i do wonder if they might weaken big mom enough for luffy to take her down alone. jimbei might have to team up with sanji to take down katakuri and bege and the vinsmokes will have to team up with the strawhats to take down the rest of big mom's crew.

the more i think about it the more i see big mom's crew ending this arc. oda has already spoiled a lot of her crews fighting style and quirks. there is no way this arc will simply end in a tie and have luffy fight her again later on. nothing about her crew will be fresh in a round 2. only way she sticks around is if another crew or the marines take her down later on. luffy is going to move on to wano with a huge boost to his name and likely his bounty. that will likely attract others to him and help him take down kaido.

i've always wanted a warlord to join luffy's crew. i'll be honest for a while i was way into the hancock for strawhat bandwagon but i changed my mind on jimbei during marineford arc. now all we need is for one of the supernovas to join and i'll have gotten everything i want. of course my number 1 candidate is bonney and has been bonney from the start.

I like how this chapter was like the third time the whole dumb "Jinbe is a coward" just gets trampled on.

bleh...I hated thriller bark. I agree with the rest, although the pinnacle of the series for me is still Water 7 to Enes Lobby. Luffy and Usopp, Luffy and Robin, Franky being hilarious, world government, it was so good. Nothing has topped it so far yet for me.

Did you guys read the chapters she was in? They were just as entertaining, if not more so than Ceaser? What does she bring to the table? Come on now.

- Her adoration for Luffy is comical and endearing
- When's she's not around him, she's basically evil, lol its hilarious!
- Connected to Luffy in all types of ways like being good friends with his mentor/Fishmen
- Sanji and Boa in the same ship is just amazing to think about
- She runs an island of female warriors (greatly adding to Luffy's crew)
- She has a tragic background
- Hatred of celestials in line with Luffy's ultimate goals

That's just off the top. It likely won't happen, more than likely, we won't see boa again until the show is over -_- But I can't imagine I'm the only one who would love to see more of her, or for Luffy to show some type of love interest at this point.

That's the only thing bad about long running manga shows, the characters really don't age with you. No one is expecting Luffy to settle down or anything remotely close to that at this point, but for him to still be asexual basically and all this teen pandering after a show has been on for 20 years is disappointing at times.

Boa had an absolute horrible past, is the queen of an entire island, adores Luffy unconditionally and has been shown to fight for him without hesitation. She looks down on everyone literally with her head to the sky, has a crazy Devil Fruit, is a master martial artist, split personality, and yet, Puddy's happy-go-lucky character type (which they are a million in OP) is more interesting?

Agree to disagree is the most absolute sense there man, and i like pudding as well.

edit: was confusing carrot with Pudding there. But point still stands. I like all of them, but man, dunno why Boa gets so hated on here, she's adorable.

I HATE this aspect, it's why I get annoyed at characters like Asuka.
