A new entry in the Fate/Extella series is in development, Type-Moon announced during the Fate/Grand Order Chaldea Radio Station Special Fate/Extra CCC Special Event Commemoration Broadcast.

Details, including platforms, were not announced, other than that the game will focus on Servant action and do various things. Please wait for a follow-up report for more information.

The first game, Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star, is available now for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, and will launch this July for Switch.

People speculating gets the games attention and it means people who own other platforms pay more attention than they otherwise would.

Hum the extra/extella games are sequels to each other..
The story goes extra then continues in CC and the timeline continues in extella. In fact extella references events in the previous 2 games multiples times . Waiting in this case is foolish

I wish they'd do another fighting game, Fate Unlimited Codes wasn't too bad imo
