Sub-Zero and Raiden, I called it. Gonna be Sub-Zero, Raiden and Spawn at the very least. How boring.

Too bad the DLC packs will probably include one guest character each. Shame, because unless one of them was Hellboy, I have no interest in paying for 2-3 characters I don't want.

I hope you're right. I don't think any of the silhouettes matches Constantine but they are just that...some blurry and shitty silhouettes.

Dlc was announced when the game was revealed mate. What do you think the ultimate deluxe versions of the game are? Also just look at the last 3 releases (mk9, injustice, mk10) did you think dlc wasn't coming?

It's a fighting game that is gonna be supported for at least 5 years. It's expected.

Going to be really stupid if they end up putting two Mortal Kombat characters as DLC. I personally don't want any but I can understand why they would put at least one.

The way that the only greater Netherrelm guest characters end up being the same basic characters (MK Ninjas) really highlights how much less they've done in gaming compared to Capcom. I love the huge pool of characters Capcom has to put their company into a cross-over event game. Makes me wish NR had access to the old Midway games or something... Using characters from Gauntlet or Smash TV in hyper real, gritty versions would actually be somewhat fun to see.

Cool, if he's the same here, I hope they take note of it in-game. Might be a nice time to use a corrupted Raiden too (which could be Joker-like in his cruelty)... though I would have been much happier with Static Shock that happened to get a Raiden Premium skin instead, heh.

Same.

Sub-Zero works, as an opposite to Injustice 1's Scorpion, but damn - people are playing this for DC characters. If they wanted to play Raiden, well, they'd play MKX. They probably already have.

It's not that simple. You can say that about cosmetic DLC, but DLC characters are pure greed and anti-consumer, plain and simple. Unless you can at least grind ingame currency to buy them. That is what F2P games do, and this 60€ game can't? Seriously.

They divide the community and lock fan-requested characters behind an overpriced tag (5€ for a character? Are they out of their mind?) because they know people want them and will pay anything.

Darkseid being a pre-order exclusive is even more disgusting.

They introduced cosmetic stuff in this game and they had to perfect opportunity to make the microtransactions transition towards that (the costumes will be purchaseable too anyways, I'm sure), but nah they're not going to give up that easy money when they can just hold the newcomers people want the most behind a paywall.

I have nothing against DLC, plenty of games benefit a lot from it. This, however, is the very definition of awful DLC in the vein of Activision.

Stoked on Starfire but UGHHHHH 2 MK characters. Also the DLC list looks like an even bigger sausage fest than usual. Character on the right might be Vixen? I thought she was datamined. In that case we would have 3 claw ladies....woo.

The gorilla could be Beast Boy.

The DLC preview content before a game is even out is atrocious. Release a full game with all the characters you have.

Will get the XL edition in a year.
